Staff was super friendly. Our room was nice, not as sound proof as I’d like but they gave me bday gift of chocolate, cookies, wine and a card!

We miss the breakfast, afternoon tea and wine tasting. Was very disappointed they were eliminated. The room was ok. The carpet had dirty spot and some wear and tear. It's time for some upgrade. I was there for 2 nights and there wasn't any housekeeping to clean the room at all. Don't know if that's has anything to do with the shortage of help. Overall it's a decent place to stay. Convenience location. Restaurants and shoppings all around.

Everyone was very kind. The historical elements of the building added to the appeal. However this is the first hotel I’ve ever been to, that did not provide any coffee or tea in the room. the lotion bottle was smaller than a pinky finger and the shampoo and conditioner bottles were goopy. I understand that Covid makes food amenities less accessible - however, This is the first hotel ever, that didn’t offer ANY at all. To me, the coffee and tea / warm water in the room is an important needed staple and should remain. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay

Front desk guy was so nice, friendly and personable. Another employee was ready to have our car towed as soon as we parked. My husband stayed with the car as I went to check in, he even followed me in to make sure I was checking in. Great way to make you feel like your doing something wrong. Not an awesome start to our anniversary.

Superb old-school Portland hotel.

Rooms are lovely. Basic services are nonexistent. We needed to check in at 130pm as we had a wedding. Explained that we couldn't come back to recheckin..but no possibility of getting a room key at the time. Then we turn up after the reception at 1am in formal attire and the receptionist asks our name and leaves us standing in the street with attitude be cause I rang the bell twice. Seriously horrible service.. not to mention they are not st0cking the coffee pots in the rooms with coffee. And there are literally zero amenities. Not covid.. just bad service.

The lobby carpet needs to be replaced. It is filthy and stained. Having to pay for parking is ridiculous. Having to go down to the basement for ice instead of having an ice machine on every floor is a pain. The staff is outstanding. They do what they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Nice staffs and spacious room

The room was excellent. Not so sure about location. But could just be problem for Portland in general

Great property in a great location

Great place, convenient location, friendly staff, and beautifully decorated and updated rooms.

I had a wonderful time everything was great even though the lady at the counter was kind of rude

Very attentive and welcoming concierge! Unique decor and very elegantly furnished The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Good size kitchen for 1-2 people with a good amount of pots and pans/dishes. Super clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Oregon!

I was given a room that shared a wall with an elevator so the I could hear people get in and off and the dinging of the door.

Loved the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. My grandson and i were extremely comfortable and happy with the whole experience!

These people were extraordinary in handling a difficult experience where PDX was cancelling all its flights because of ice and snow. The front desk people were gracious and worked with me to offer help and direction. The rooms were spacious and clean. My stay was certainly eventful, but they were accommodating every step of the way.

Stayed during COVID and they upgraded us to the top floor corner room. Three restaurants steps away from the front door. I look forward to staying there when all their amenities are available!

Dear Riley, We are always looking for guest feedback, so we appreciate all of your input regarding your recent stay. While we understand the inconvenience regarding no on-site breakfast buffet and housekeeping, please understand that this is due to the safety of both our guests and staff during this current climate. We currently offer room service for breakfast from local favorite, Cheryl's on 12th Restaurant, and they also allow our guests to charge directly to their room when dining inside the restaurant. We are also currently working on a replacement inhouse breakfast concept that should be open by the end of October, so we hope that you will visit again to experience this great new service!
