While this property was definitely very younique like the other Kimptons we have stayed at, the one in Miami was amazing! This one was very disappointing. Our room was one of the suites with the stairs. We had our 4 & 6 year old. The walls are thin and the last night, the couple next door were screaming at each other for hours and our children heard every foul word. The staff did take care of the problem after three calls and my children being up past midnight due to the belligerently drunk woman yelling at her husband and breaking things. The staff apologized and said they would be comping us our room, the next morning they did not. They took off our $60 amenity charge only. We stayed for 4 nights, each night was over $550. While I understand some things are unavoidable and we were very patient despite our 6 year old repeating the swear words and being scared, thinking the drunk lady was being hurt (she wasn’t, you literally could hear every thing) the walls are so thin we could hear their phone ring. They did offer us another nights stay, that’s not really helpful as it was our last night and we were leaving town. That is not accommodating. Normally I’m not someone to complain or write a negative review but for this amount of money they should have offered a free future stay or comped the room, even half off the one night. We travel very frequently to Portland for medical appointments to OHSU. Their loss. Now I can’t write about the things I did like, no space.

I've stayed in Portland several times now and this hotel's ambience and décor is a good balance of Portland-hip with a high-end feel. I loved the bar and lounge area (live music!) - I can say that I don't often WANT to hang out in a hotel's bar, but we did twice during our stay. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, the vibe was relaxed but fun. You can't beat the location - most neighborhoods are easily walkable from downtown and were explored old town, burnside, the pearl district, and 23rd street without getting into a car once.

Small, cute hotel with a homey feel. Felt like a kicked up bed and breakfast. Everyone was so friendly.

Staff during check in wasn't their normal 5 star above and beyond. My room smelled a bit musty too. Normally this location is superb

Great vibe in the lounge, friendly staff, and wonderful location. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very Portland. Quirky but has everything you need. I’d definitely stay again

Very accommodating!!!! The rooms, the service , the restaurant connected delish! Easy access to many great places:)

Excellent hotel, it was walking distance from everything we wanted to see, and if you couldn't walk you could catch a tram. This hotel is inviting every time you enter the front door. We loved it.

Great location, great amenities (like wine tasting, yoga mats, bikes), and great concierge! Rooms and baths on the cozy side but cool. We would stay again!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The concierge, Ryan was so helpful in planning our excursions. Great place

My only issue was that I got charged a guest fee for $25.00 which was weird since the bedroom was for two and there was two people. On top of that I couldn’t even get a cot brought to the room. Other than that this place is excellent and I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Charming winery-themed facility, but it’s the people who make or break a lodging experience. The generally young and friendly staff always aimed to please. Quirky lobby (mesmerizing ball machine and 10 story atrium) kept us looking around for more, which helped us find the 2nd floor game room (pool, shuffleboard, and console video games). Smallish rooms. Our room did not have much of a view which I suspect is a risk of getting an orbitz bundle price.

Hotel is nice for the price range. Location is great which gave access to many large local attractions within walking distance. Little bit pricy for what we needed.

Free wine, free drinks, great love music, great scene we will be back!
