Like-staff, price, cleanliness Dislike-no ice, no elevator, no luggage cart, toilet ran all nite,

Staff were friendly and helpful. I got breakfast and lunch food there which was good. Had to park on the grass a bit of a distance from the main building, although there was a drop off your bag area by front door. Thought the room was dated in terms of decor. No one came in at all for maid service to change towels, replenish toiletries all 3 nights there. I got a credit for leaving a day early due to illness but would have preferred credit back to my card.

.

You get what you pay for. We would have paid more for the great secluded spot for an upgraded room with larger beds, but Im not sure that option exists. Pretty area with views and has some good features, but if you want a good nights sleep with all the amenities, this wont be your destination.

I like the unique hotel and beautiful grounds.

Old time home atmosphere

Overall a beautiful place. The only real negative was that the lower level and movie room were extremely hot in the Presidential Inn.

Not what I expected at all. Old motor lodge close to the road. Attached to but not really a part of the "resort" depicted in the promo pictures. Not a bad place, just old and not what I expected.

I was there from NJ w my parents (in their 80s) and our 13 year old son. Our first time in Maine. The place took us to another time. It was a lovely experience for our family to share.

Liked everyone and everything. Way to busyaaaassssssssssssssss

Maybe I stayed at the bad timing, but when I was there, there were so many old people who apparently need to smoke all the time. The room was not small but kinda old feeling everywhere, smelled like grandma's house. It was reasonably priced, but not sure if I want to come back.

The mattress a little too firm to sleep. But manage for the night.

We were there for a funeral. So for an unexpected trip, we were so grateful for the accommodations, the reasonable prices and the beautiful grounds. It was nice not having to worry about breakfast. The staff was lovely. Yes, the accommodations we're dated...but that was part of the charm. I would return. This would be a great place for a family reunion. Thanks Poland Springs for making a sad weekend so comfortable.

Checked into hotel at 1230 Saturday afternoon. Very quick st the front seat which I loved. Had answers for all my questions. The front counter woman was exceptional. The breakfast bar the next morning was good not a lot of food but plenty of variety. Will definitely be staying there again.

We stopped there on our way to the coast. The hotel is dated but was comfortable enough.

We offer rooms with twins, doubles, one queen or one king. We are a historical place and our rooms are simply finished in a beautiful setting in Poland Spring Maine.. Sorry you weren't happy with your stay.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review! I am sorry it was hot in the Presidential Inn. Due to the steam heat in that building it can get quite warm in the lower level where the movie room and game room is. Please visit again soon. Sincerely, Laura Poland Spring Resort 207-998-4351
