The beach looks nothing like the picture!! Some staff was great and some where rude… room was comfy. Food was ok

The hotel itself was lovely and clean with very friendly people and laid out nicely, but the food wasn't very good sometimes (specifically the buffet) and the rooms and restaurants were unbearably hot. The entire family had difficulty sleeping at night because our room simply wouldn't cool off. The restaurants too are just so unbelievably hot sometimes. The beach is covered with seaweed and our dreams of sandcastles and bodysurfing and swimming were gone- we literally never stepped foot on the beach. The pools are clean but very overcrowded and they get so hot that it's like a hot tub by noon and unusable by 3pm- literally the water would be in the 90s and the sun was 100. We essentially were hot and sweaty for an entire week. There's a lot of loud music and 'games' which made the pool areas feel more 'college spring break' than a relaxing family vacation. The kids club was closed so we never got time alone as a couple, we had to take the kids everwhere at all times. There were tons of local wildlife (monkeys, coatis, iguanas) and that was very fun to see. The ice cream parlor and coffee shop was great. Some of the restaurants were really good, some just good, some not so great. There is nowhere to eat poolside, no grill or outdoor kitchen so you have to get dressed and go back inside to the hot buffet which stinked. Overall, the kids loved it but I wouldn't go back unless everything was open, the beach was pristine, and if the food got better in the buffet. And AC!

Good and very attentive staff but food was generally mediocre, no beach access, AC in restaurants almost non existent, gym lacked towels and water some of the time and was like a sauna, kid’s center closed. The problem is not the personnel, who couldn’t be harder working but with overall management.

Unlimited drinks for all inclusive

The grounds were very beautiful, multiple pool areas. The beach was non existent and we were very dissatisfied. We couldn’t even swim or step foot in it. Staff did not clean or maintain the beach area. Very big rocks as well. The food at the restaurants were very good! The buffet food was okay. The staff did not put in any effort when it came to guest services. It’s like the want to do the very minimal and not go over and beyond to enjoy your stay Overall I wasn’t pleased with this resort and wouldn’t go back or recommend it. We upgraded to privilege and got a butler. Compared to the butler we have had in the past this one hardly did anything unless asked and definitely didn’t seem like he wanted to ensure we were taken care of

Andres made our experience what it was. He was amazing, went above and beyond. We hated that we booked for 2 and then when we got there we were told it was only for 1 and had to pay an additional $845 on arrival to “add a 2nd person”. The room was only cleaned every other day and the mini fridge would only restock 2 beers a day max (but it was supposed to be all inclusive??) We paid additional for a roof top jacuzzi suite and it didn’t work and although we attempted to get this issue fixed ALL WEEK including talking to the Vice President IN PERSON nothing was done to fix the issue, OR move us to a different room that worked OR give us a reduction or offsetting cost in the different we paid for that room. We WILL NOT be returning. I do want to point out that Andres our concierge was amazing. He was so helping and accommodating and tried and was so personable.

My overall experience was great. Most of the staff were really nice and friendly, great weather and good food & drinks. I tried for I normally wouldn’t. My room was nice and clean, room service restocked & cleaned my room daily, I had a nice view, I felt safe on the resort & for the most part when I had a issue, it was addressed in a timely manner. My only complaint was the mode/mildew smell in the rooms. Each room does have a humidifier however the smell did not go away. The humidifier only lasted for about 4-5 hours, then is needed to be emptied so you had to keep calling someone to empty it so the smell wouldn’t get out of hand. Also the linen was dingy, the resort could use some new ones. Otherwise everything was great. I would definitely go back again.

No entertainment, food very bad, Hotel 4 years old but looks like 25 years.

Enjoyed our stay - even with COVID protocol- felt safe and appreciated staff efforts to protect the public.

Good activities for kids. Evening shows were good

Food was amazing! But timing wise, some restaurants were closed. Service and hotel cleanliness was good!

Service was excellent and everyone was friendly. Enjoyed the bowling at night, but the beach was rocky. Walk up the beach to the left and there is an area where it is less rocky

The property needs a refresh. it is a great concept, especially with children but with just some tune-ups it could be so much better.
