The grounds and the staff were amazing. The pool is huge and beautiful but was just very warm. The adults only pool and children’s pool was much cooler and very refreshing. The restaurants were ok, definitely not amazing but decent. The themed restaurants were much better than the buffet but you only get so many reservations at those depending upon the number of nights you stay.

The hotel its far from 5 stars. The hotel is in villas, with stars inside luck lake cheap buildings. The floor is very dirty, lucks nice but when you walk too bathroom in bare foot faind very dirty floor, around the toilet in back filthy, sorry cleaning very poor!!!

Property and staff were great

Our check-in and initial room experience wasn’t the greatest. The first room my parents got when they got there had the ceiling leaking over the toilet in their bathroom and a/c only had on fan speed. The reason for the leaking ceiling was the toilet on the floor above was leaking and they were going to fix it and expected them to stay in the same room with toilet water drops falling from the ceiling on them for when they needed to use the restroom. That wasn’t acceptable. Kinda got the run around for about 2hrs on the whole ordeal because supposedly they didn’t have any other rooms available. In the end, a new room was provided. Customer service could have been better and more accommodating. Another disappointing part was having to make reservations for dinner and it seemed like there were never any times to make them. We finally got in one night and it barely had anybody there. Weird how it was hard to make reservations with nobody eating in them.

Nice place. Can use better music in the lobby late night.

Food was terrible and staff rude!!!!

It would great to indicate on the website; that with COVID the resort is not fully available. Not a lot of alcohol drinks available. Everything is limited.

The fact that the jungle was in between everything and we got to see tons of wildlife. 10/10

I like the overall feel of the place, having animals, shows. A little short on amenities. Too much weeds on the ocean.

The place is really nice and most of the workers are kind and very friendly. What I did not like was the way you are approached by some staff members that try to sell you the hotels membership. Other than that food was good, room was clean.

Loved the jungle setting. It was beautiful the pool and beach were amazing. I kinda wish they offered like white claws or trulys. Also, I would have really appreciated different buffet menus everyday or every other day.

Iberostar Quetzal was amazing! Would definitely stay there again.

There were monkeys all over my room balcony. The grabbed tables and chair, urinated and defecated on the balcony as well! It was a nightmare. I felt like I was in a jungle!!! I was completely traumatized and left the hotel immediately.

Environment, pool and beach were awesome .Foid was great

Really liked all the animals to see around the property. The staff was excellent everywhere except in the restaurants that required reservations. In both places we went they were terrible. All other places- pool, buffet, front desk, bell hop they were all excellent!! The pool & beach are great!
