valet took along time to retrieve car. Room with view was awesome. Very clean and comfortable.

The location

The common spaces were nice, but the room was very, very dirty.

We were very surprised to find the lobby on the top floor of the building. It was a great view, parking garage was super close and inexpensive, although there was valet available. Considering the busy location, I was absolutely shocked at how QUIET it was inside. Best night of sleep ever! Cons: Floors with rooms required a key to access via elevator. This means we couldn't order food for delivery and pretty mcuh had to get the (expensive) in room dining (which was delicious). A bit annoying to need the key for everything, but I can see why it's necessary.

To begin our stay (Saturday-Monday), the front of the building was easy to find. We decided to spend the extra $10 for valet (totally $35 compared to the $25 for self-parking). After asking the valet how to pay we were informed the total for two days, $70, would be charged to the room. I repeated the question to the check-in lady, and she gave the same answer. Come to find out, that valet is only offered Friday-Sunday and that i would have to get my keys on Sunday by 11 am. If I would have known that, I could have parked my car myself. AND I would have a better sense of where the parking garage is to get to my car instead of being told that its "around the corner". The room....was okay. The shower had hair in it, the comforter had hair on it, the floor was filthy, the pull out couch had crumbs folded into it (so it wasn't dropped from just sitting on the couch) and the lamp shade had something splattered on the inside. The TV is not a Smart TV, which is kind of a bummer from Embassy. The towels were THIN and nearly falling apart. Last, but CERTAINLY not least, we went swimming the first day, and there was a poop floater. Assuming it was just an unfortunate accident and they immediately closed the pool to clean and shock it, it was also very disappointing that the whole reason we booked THIS hotel, was so my kids could go swimming.

A strange entrance arrangement, the lobby was many floors up.

Well when I got to the hotel no one was at the desk. Then when I got to the room it was popcorn and cereal on the floor in the bedroom no one told me where I could get ice at no one verbally told me about the pool rules and we were not able to swim and denied All Access also the waterfall that shown in the picture was not there either. Then for the valet parking they told us to go upstairs then they told us to go back downstairs so we had end up carrying all of our stuff back to the car there was no hand sanitizer throughout the hotel. If I wasn't going to be able to swim I would have chose another hotel I was throwing a surprise birthday for my fiance so I didn't complain but when they sent up the cake knife it was dirty to but I held my composure and I felt like I accommodated myself. And the breakfast also was cold and the same families kept signing up to swim all night and when I asked they told me that it had been full since that Friday which no one told me until the end of my stay.

Hotel is in a good location in Pittsburgh. First time I had occasion to travel and stay in a hotel since pandemic began. Hotel is making efforts to run the facility safely through a pandemic . Complementary hot breakfast provided which you can take to your room or take advantage of the limited seating provided in the restaurant. I believe due to pandemic housing services are cut back. I had to call for hospitality services if I wanted the room cleaned. This is ok, but I was not made aware of this at check in and had to call to ask that the room be cleaned. The check in area is on the 25th floor of the hotel. Nothing in the hotel confirmation I received from Orbitz indicated this and that would have been helpful. Staff friendly and professional. I think the hotel could have been a bit cleaner in some of the common areas like the elevator but this may be due to cut backs in staffing due the pandemic. The suites are very spacious. We selected Embassy suites because we were traveling with an Infant and a toddler and thought the space and separation of the bedroom and living room would be wise particularly at bed time. It certainly was. Overall I would stay here again when I go to Pittbrugh.

We love this place, always stay here when we visit Pittsburgh

Very cool experience high above downtown Pittsburgh. Suites were spacious and clean, staff was helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed the complimentary to-go breakfast boxes and the complimentary happy hour.

Not having valet service available and having to park yourself. We were not aware of that until arrival. Would have been nice to know ahead of time.

Convenient and great amenities. Employees are always accommodating and offer a smile.

Breakfast selection was good. Didn't like the sliding bathroom door with no lock. Windows outside were very dirty.
