The hotel is in a good location, near muesums and a park. The staff is friendly and accommodating and allowed us to check in early. The bed is comfortable, albeit not totally clean and there was no fitted sheet on the bed causing the matress to be exposed during the night. The bathroom is quiant. Overall, for the price and the location, I'd return. But I might consider bringing my own sheets.

The location is excellent. The facility is small and it takes time to track down some help. Our first room had mouse droppings on the bedside table. Our second room, I saw a live mouse.

a. They took payment for my first night when I arrived, I thought Orbitz would be taking payment. b. The building is old and in poor condition, the room had a saggy bathroom floor, tiles coming off the shower, no trash cans, a used tissue behind the bedside table, big stains on the carpets. c. I stayed two nights because I was too busy to leave right away which I should have done. The staff the next morning had no idea what I owed or how to check me out.

The hotel room was dark and smelled like smoke, although it was a nonsmoking room. The hotel has no front desk and does not provide anything for guests. The room was not worth the $200 price, although it is located close to restaurants and other venues.

I expected a hotel with parking. What I got was a grungy brownstone chopped up into little rooms, like a hostel. Parking was in a public parking deck, blocks away, 28.00 over night. The hotel was over booked so we were relocated to an apartment several blocks away. It was Big and had a cool appeal, the place was musty, the bathrooms and kitchen were mildewed and the air quality dried out my nose. Someone was doing construction in the space above the hotel and were running power tools past 2am when I banged on the ceiling for it to stop. Not a foot experience at all.

This hotel is in a good spot to access great restaurants and cool N. 3rd St. shopping. However, the building is not in great shape. The walls are very thin - you can hear everything next door and out on the street. Bathroom was dirty. No trash can in the room.

After being able to check in early after a red eye flight the first night was ok. The next night I saw a mouse in the room. I checked and there were multiple holes in various corners. I had two sealed granola bars in a bag and both of them were chewed open. The mouse was there the next two nights and also ran across my bed. I complained the about the first night and they had an exterminator come out. I can't speak for the other rooms in hotel, however the particular couch in our room was tattered. The paint was peeling from the walls in both rooms. There was a patched section of ceiling in the main room. The smoke detector was missing. The shower didn't drain properly, the caulking was not done properly. Some of the bed linens were soiled. I spoke to another person staying across from our room, and the said they saw the mouse as well. I cannot recommend this particular hotel in Philadelphia. After speaking to the manager they gave us the last night free of charge.

Feel down the stairs. Stairs are narrow and steep and covered in carpet. Combination of narrow, carpeted stairs caused wife to slip and fall on the stairs. Staff not helpful when informed of the incident. Lumpy bed. Hole in bathroom screen. Soap residue left in soap dish in shower. Shower very slow to drain. Standing I 2 inches of water at end of shower. Interior picture of web site bears no resemblance whatsoever to hotel. Picture looks wonderful. Hotel looks very different and much worse. Left a paper grocery bag with a plastic bag of popcorn in adjoining room. In morning large hole (about 1.2 inches) chewed through external paper bag and two smaller holes chewed through interior plastic bag. We are only hoping that is was a mouse and not some larger rodent.

Worse place I ever stayed. I'm low maintenance, but wow. Room was expensive. Had no made, ants in room, room falling apart, not enough outlets, no elevator, no staff between 9pm and 9am. I'm just awed.

I really don't have anything to say in this section but this stupid website requires a minim un number of characters.

We are a value based small hotel right in the middle of Old City. All of the historic attractions are within a short 3-4 minute walk. We provide basic clean accommodations and all rooms have comfortable memory foam mattresses, mini-fridges, free Wifi, flat screen TV's, complimentary bottled water, fresh fruit, snacks, and coffee daily. We have recently installed all new central HVAC system, all new windows, and have an artist in residence that is updating the decor and providing original artwork for all rooms. On any given day our prices will be the least expensive accommodation in all of Center City Philadelphia. For these reasons we operate at 90% occupancy year round and have many regular and repeat customers.
