I wish we had known that the street the hotel is on was closed to traffic for the party crowds, we would have stayed somewhere else. We had to park a couple blocks away and carry all our luggage to the hotel. Normally not a big deal but my wife is pregnant and it was rough. Thank God the heatwave broke before we got there, otherwise I don't know how she would have made the walk. She was a bit worried about the mildew around the fire sprinkler over our bed but that was minor compared to the long walk.

We liked the location in downtown Phoenixville, amidst all the activity, restaurants and retails. We loved its historic nature. THEN, it turned dark. Even the entry was unkempt and dirty. The fellow 'behind the desk' was even 'behind the desk.' He left a handwritten note that he was in the back and we had to yell for him. He handed us a key to our room....THAT DIDN'T WORK!!!! The room had human feces smeared on the wall above the toilet paper dispenser. We left almost immediately.

Great location to be on the main strip, however this hotel has gone way downhill from when we were there 4 years ago. The room was cleaner when we checked out than it was upon arrival. Very disappointed : (

The property is locally owned, situated right in downtown Phoenixville. Both the hotel and the town are perfectly charming. The rooms are clean - ours came with a frig and microwave. The hotel does not have a lot of amenities - no washer/dryer, use of a computer/printer, no pool. Guests are provided a parking pass but parking is sparse - so we sometimes parked near the hotel and sometimes further away. I love this hotel because it’s not the familiar cookie cutter hotel one can find along every highway in America. It is so pleasant to get up in the morning and walk 300 feet to Steel City Coffeehouse, a local cafe , or to wander Bridge street in the evening and eat at any of several great restaurants (Sedona Taphouse is awesome) I recommend this hotel because of its local charm. If you want every amenity and expect as much, and care less about individual charm, you might want to go elsewhere.

Really great location, right on the main street, so everything is lively and walkable. The hotel has personality and is reasonably clean and comfortable, if a little bit worn. People at reception were not wearing masks, which made me uncomfortable. If you're at risk for covid, take that into consideration.

This place was centrally located with restaurants, bars, and stores. Cute town. My overall experience was ok. Parking was free. There’s about 5-6 parking spots located next to the building. I didn’t have an issue with getting a parking spot. The place was clean. My only issue was being without a working tv. Reported the issue, but they couldn’t fix the problem. It was an inconvenience.

Fantastic location, very convenient. With Friendly staff. Only downside is parking can get tricky at busy times.

The room was tiny there is no sitting or desk area. It reeked with smoke the entire two days we were there! Despite every door had a "no smoking" sign on them. The WiFi did not work at all, there was no point in connecting. There was no elevator we had to take several trips to walk our things upstairs. The sleep was uncomfortable, we did not sleep well because the lock was loose on the room door. The complimentary breakfast was nothing more than dry biscuits and packs of oatmeal. However, never judge a book by its cover. The outside of the building does not describe the inside. The neighborhood was beautiful and the people we're friendly.

Clean room and in the wonderful location . Overall good

This is a great hotel in a lovely downtown district!! We loved the location and its proximity to Collegeville, where our daughter goes to college.

The room was extremely small and did not look like the pictures. The satellite TV kept going in and out even when it was bright and sunny outside. The front desk was a bit rude when I first checked in, but if you are just looking for a place to sleep, and shower then be gone it will do.

Staff were very welcoming, room was clean and updated, just a little small, but for what we needed it was great.

Came home after 30 years . Wanted to see the changes . Hotel was in the middle of the action and comfortable enough for the time spent in it. Staff was the best !!!!!

Thank you for your kind review. Unfortunately, due to the snow storm several area services were down including cable and internet....we hope you will come back and stay again.

Our double rooms have a desk with a chair. Also, breakfast there is English muffins, mini blueberry muffins, cereal, oatmeal, oranges & apples, yogurt, and orange juice. I'm not sure how you missed all of that. It does state a small or light continental breakfast. As to the smoking, it is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, I apologize for however you may have smelled smoke, we will try to address that directly. Wifi, we have 3 options to link to, you may have been linked to the wrong one? While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it’s apparent in this case, we fell short. For the inconvenience, it caused, I am sorry. Thank you for staying with us. We hope the rest of your week is good.
