When we arrived to the Hampton Inn in Limerick, PA it was midnight. We were stopping at the hotel for the night on our drive back to New England from South Carolina. We pulled up to the hotel, under the awning, to find a large group of people. They were playing loud music on speakers, dancing and shouting, drinking alcohol from their own coolers, and eating pizza. This was all happening right at the front door, under the awning of the hotel. When I went to check in, the man at the reception was not very helpful. He was rather rude and seemed bothered that I as checking in - though he wasn't bothered by the party happening outside. Also, the lobby and breakfast area was littered with open cans of alcohol, coolers, and empty pizza boxes. The elevators had crude signs taped in them. And, all through the night, the partiers were coming in and out of the hotel, slamming the doors to their rooms and being loud in the hallways. It was a very disappointing experience. I expect better from a Hampton Inn.

The staff was very helpful. We missed the delicious breakfast buffet, due to the health restrictions at this time. Our reservation had not been sent to the hotel from Orbitz, so there was no record of us, but the staff worked it out and gave us the Orbitz rate and the room we had requested.

I was displaced for my home for a week, so i looked for properties with a laundry. I wasnt until after the first night that i found out the laundry was out of order. When i asked the front desk about it i was told its been out of order for 4 weeks. I asked "Why wasnt i told at check in." Response " I dont know." My room was never cleaned nor were clean towels placed in my room. The front desk assured me he would take care of it... They never took care of it. I had to leave and find another place for my family that night. I book rhe hotel to make things less stressful and they only made more problems by giving excuses and false promises.

My stay was just as i imagined it would be. The was wonderful,the room was clean and the breakfast was great.

We checked into our room to find the door to our room open, and then room was clearly not clean as the bed was not made, bathroom not clean. In the second room that they provided, the bathroom was not clean and there was standing water behind the toilet. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and the sink had not been cleaned. We asked that they clean the bathroom, and they said that they would send someone immediately. This never happened. When we returned to our still dirty room, the night time manager (who was the only one that ever was helpful to us), personally cleaned another room and checked us in to our finally clean room. I have never changed rooms once in a hotel, not to mention three times!. The hotel cleaning staff did not clean our room the next two days. They never entered our room. We were busy and out first thing in the morning and not back until late evening. Again, the night time manager would provide us with toiletries as we requested, but our room was never cleaned. On our final day at the hotel, I had the don't disturb on for the morning but returned by 3 pm. We asked to have our room cleaned as there was still a cleaning person on the floor, (and the lady at the front desk assured us that they would clean our room) and it was never done. The manager of the hotel made excuses for his staff, but the bottom line is this could be a very nice hotel, but cleanliness is not important to this hotel.

It was clean and had a great breakfast. However, Orbitz told me there was a sleep sofa, which I asked for, and there was none. It wasn't a suite at all, which is what I requested.
