Great place to stay.. I'll give it a 5 stars for the price I paid.

The location of this property is perfect and is 15 minutes from the major landmarks.

Info office people was rude, the area felt not safe,

Very clean n modern. Good location near the train station.

Witnessed a gang fight a block from the hotel. Teenagers chasing after each other with bats and glass bottles. Órbitz didn’t refund my stay after I told them I felt unsafe. The concierge told me the neighborhood was safe and they wouldn’t offer a refund because I stayed in the room for two hours (contacting orbitz for a relocation). Horrible. Unsafe.

Nice hotel close to the North Paris train station and great restaurants/cafes. Great upgrade this time

We called ahead to say arriving late. Then watched a room given to a threesome. My husband and I were given an interior single bed room. Thanks to Orbitz app I was able to demand at least a double bed and a window. Desk clerk was not apologetic and fussed re the fact my husband waited in the 1st room with our luggage. I was not impressed

It's was the first time and sure I will repeat it room was small but clean and close to metro station but the area little bit noisy

As in so many hotels in Paris, the room was very small. We ended up putting the chair on top of the desk, because with two large bags we had no room to walk around! But the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the staff were very pleasant. We were just there for one night to catch the train to the UK from the Gare du Nord, and it was perfect for that - just a short walk to the station.

The hotel itself is in a good location (close to metro / train stations) - although - not the nicest area. I wouldn't want to walk around alone late at night. The staff were nice and welcoming, but we did find a beg bug during our stay. It was traumatizing to say the least. I understand that it can happen anywhere, but the lack of appropriate response from the hotel manager at Libertel Gare du Nord Suede was disappointing. I found the bed bug and gave it to hotel reception (in a plastic baggie) the night before my departure. He recommended emailing the hotel manager which I did. I left before the manager arrived the following day. I received an email two days later that was clearly copied and pasted from corporate apologizing for the experience. It wasn't even from the manager of the hotel but someone in corporate from Libertel. It didn't even bother the substitute my name...it just said "cher monsieur." I feel like all the hotel manager did was forward my email on to corporate for them to copy and paste a response to me. Not ok. The hotel manager is not focused on customer satisfaction with this unacceptable handling of the situation.

Very helpful staff, close to subway station and many places to eat in the area!

Hotel is centrally located and convenient, a short walk from Gare du Nord. Staff is very helpful, room was clean and very comfortable (sparkling new shower/sink/toilet), also quiet. Breakfast was well worth the 10E. Overall an excellent choice.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The receptionists are wonderful and want you to have a great stay. The location is very convenient and at a walking distance from both Gare du Nord and Gare Est. There are restaurants, boulangeries, and cafes close. There's a supermarket across the street and Saint Quentin market close by. The San Quentin market has ethnic foods, french cheeses, fruit veggies etc. The hotel rooms are small. My cosy room was the size of a dorm room However, they provide you with all the basics. Very comfortable bed, clean fresh looking linens, hair dryer, dispensable bodywash/shampoo provided. No lotion. Electric water kettle tea and coffee provided. French windows in the rooms with translucent curtains. For privacy there is a button for shutters that darken the room well. The only negative thing is that the walls are not entirely sound proof. If your neighbors are noisy, you will know it. Most likely they will be tired travelers like you and sleep early. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are small by American standards, but overall good for Paris. Breakfast is ok, I would recommend going elsewhere. No air conditioner and it is on a very loud street. Not sure if it's a bad neighborhood or just Paris but every hour a police car came by with its siren on. But you can't beat how close it is to the Metro/Train Station.

The room was spacious enough for one person (I had the Cosy Single or whatever the room was called for one person). The shower stall could've been a little bit bigger (I'm 5'4", 180lbs) but spacious enough to do a hot wash of the important parts. My bed was comfortable and definitely clean. Loved that the heater worked almost immediately and was practically a sauna in 5 min. I would come here again.

I expected more room space, but It was adequate. The amenities were very functional without any problems. The staff was also very helpful despite the language problems. The convenience of shops and eating places in close proximity together with public transport made our stay more pleasurable. Would return the next time I am in Paris.

The surroundings are typical of a train station but the hotel is all we hoped for.

Hello dear Orbitz, Sorry to hear about your general feeling on the hotel area. As we invite our dear guests to be careful about their personal belongings while visiting Paris (like in any other big city in the world), but there is really nothing special to report about the area. We care about providing you the safety you need, please feel free to contact us anytime at the front desk or by calling us even outside the hotel so we could help you. We also have dedicated brochures and 24/7 staff at the front desk.. We are sorry for any inconvenience and we thank you for your understanding as we do our best daily to make our guests happy about their stay in Paris. Wishing you a good day,
