Property was quaint and in a very convenient part of the city. Surrounded by nice stores and restaurants. Staff were helpful, and shower was probably the best I ever had!

On a small street. Near many restaurants and ice cream shops and bar/cafes. Grocers, cheese shops, wine shops, antiques. Norte Dame steps away. We want to go back.

The hotel has character (wood beams, stone floors, etc.) The elevator/lift is only about big enough for two people at a time or one person with a suitcase. It also stops between floors along the spiral staircase which can be challenging for the elderly like me. You still have to walk a few steps up or down from where the elevator stops to your floor. Ile de Saint Louis is quiet at night but lively in the day with several famed Bertillon ice cream locations very close by and a variety of small creperies and restaurants and shops. You can walk to Notre Dame or Saint- Chapelle or cross a bridge to the left or right banks. The architecture of the buildings on Ile de Saint Louis is attractive. The desk receptionists are on duty all hours and have good facility in English. The breakfast on the lower level of the hotel had sufficient variety for most tastes (at the time of my visit it was 13 Euros which is typical of other Paris hotels.) I was pleased with my room (201) and would consider staying there again on a future visit to Paris.
