Good place to stay near to hospital

Just needed an overnight stay and it was ver cozy.

average hotel close distance to the place I was going for surgery stayed here for a day or two was just fine.

Nothing special about this hotel. It's cheaper than others in the area and that's about all it has going for it. Staff is polite, but not overly helpful. The rooms are clean, but non-descript. In my room, the smoke alarm battery was low, so was beeping loudly periodically and the outlet nearest the coffee machine did not work. If you just need a room for the nigh it is fine, just don't expect too much.

This hotel is in a great location, close to Stanford, the Palo Alto VA, downtown, etc. There is a McDonald's and a great Fry's Electronics store within walking distance, and it is in a very safe neighborhood. The rooms are clean but small, nice sheets and decor. There is a microwave, cube fridge, and good climate control. The internet was slow by normal standards however.

The hotel was not the typical Travelodge that I expected. It is situated near a busy road and was a bit noisy at night. The rate was higher than the quality of the room provided. We had a room on the 2nd floor and it was a bit difficult to carry the luggage up there. The place was ok but should be lower priced.

i got the room for $71.50 per night and that's about what it was worth. room was clean, comfortable enough and the location was good.

Very close to everything on this part of the Peninsula. I enjoyed 4 nights here. It isn't the "Ritz", but the room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful with directions. I would stay again.

I spent 3 nights at this Travelodge. I thought the bed was going to be terrible when I sat on it the first time, but ended up sleeping comfortably and waking without back or neck pain (a frequent problem with hotel beds). The "continental breakfast" was minimal, but as the staff described it. However, each night I found myself eager to return, and ended up stopping by the desk every morning and every evening to say hello. The staff were so friendly, so helpful and so courteous that they made my stay much more memorable than many visits to posher hotels where everyone is too busy to more than print, swipe, and smile perfunctorily.

Very close to Stanford Campus. The room was quite small and older as was the breakfast area, but I guess it wasn't a bad price for Palo Alto. The hotel has a very friendly new owner who plans upgrades so it may get better very soon.

My experience was wonderful because the staff were so helpful.. I had so many questions and they directed me in the right way. I am not a flashy or fancy person, for my needs, the Travelodge was perfect.

The room had an odd but slight odor, which seems like a mixture of air freshener and mildew. Again, it was slight, and I was completely accustomed to it in 2 minutes, but it's an instant reminder that this is a cheap motel. I was taken a bit by surprise by the road noise: it's right on a main thoroughfare, but due to the older, non-insulated windows the road noise was worse than it could have been. But it was clean, the TV worked, I had hot water, and the staff was nice.

Pretty close to Stanford, and nears a lot nice restaurant. This place is valuable in all ways, and the staff area nice.

The staff is friendly and try to be helpful. The bed and the pillows were hard, one light was not working and could not be fixed by on-site staff. The rug was stained and the whole room just dingy.

The room was clean, the location excellent, and the staff were very helpful

Everything was ok, my only qualm was the internet was NOT fast at all. I had to go to internet cafes to get any work done.

The location was good for me to get to my business appointments. The room had the normal appointments but needed to be updated. The security of the windows in to the room was a concern. The free internet was not very slow or not working the four days I was there.

Close to Stanford Campus. Comfortable Room. Convenient transportation

Internet connection was unusably bad (despite a strong wireless signal the gateway appeared to drop 3/4 of the requests going through it at all times; I called tech support with detailed info to no effect). Out of 4 morning showers, one was lukewarm and one turned cold a couple minutes in. Someone left the bathroom window open one day. Some of the electrical outlets were in the lousy condition typical of old-ish US buildings (lamp and clock plugs were hanging halfway out of them), but there was a surge suppressor providing several good places to plug in my silly gadgets.

I was there for 3 nights and tried to connect to the internet! I could not! I talked to them in the morning and they told me it will be solve! in the afternoon I tried the internet again and I could not get online! I asked the front desk and they told me that "You have to call the provider your self! we (Travelodge) have nothing to do with it". I got shocked!! I also called the provider my self and they did nothing for me! So, I suck there for 3 night with no internet!!! I would never try them again!
