This was the first time we had stayed at this hotel. We always stay at Westins expecting the same high quality that Westin is known for; however this Westin was a big disappointment. The equipment in the fitness room was is poor condition. We said we did not need our linens changed, but they didn't even come in and make the bed or clean the room. The carpet was dirty and the room in general was tired. There was no concierge and the staff at the front desk wasn't helpful when asking questions.

The hotel is in an EXCELLENT location for a visit to Stanford. It's within walking distance to campus as well as to downtown Palo Alto.

I booked this property because I needed to be in several locations in a short amount of time and did not have a car. We were going to a game at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, wanted to see the campus of Stanford, which is right across the street from the hotel, and then were heading to San Francisco. It is right next to the Caltrain line which is super convenient as well as University/Palm Avenue where several great restaurants and shops are located. All were easy walking distance. There is also Town & Country Village which has more amazing shops and restaurants, walking distance as well.

Stayed at the Westin for a quick trip to Palo Alto. Hotel was nice and service was good. The location of the door to the bathroom made it awkward to move around the room? My main complaint was the cost of the room. Felt it was overpriced (paid over $600 for a king bed room).

We had a nice one night stay in this hotel, they gave us a clean and quite hotel, this is what we care. This hotel is within walking distance to Standford, it's nice.

2nd stay at this hotel and we like it because it's quiet and doesn't have a casino, the parking is easy, and the tram is just outside the door. No smoking, and has a safe, secure feel if family is with you. Very clean and updated, friendly, helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. The Convention center is a short walk

Super convenient to walk to Palo Alto shops and restaurants.

This hotel was terrific. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I was traveling for business and the rooms were quiet, the shower was nice and clean and the internet was perfect. Great place for work travel!

Our trip was for an entire weekend to see San Francisco 49ers Stanford Cardinal games and to tour San Francisco. The hotel is a very easy walk to the cal train for travel to San Francisco city and the 49ers game and was a very easy walk to Stanford stadium. The hotel is extremely comfortable , and the staff could not be more efficient or helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel due to location, cleanliness and friendliness.

The Westin Palo Alto has all the familiar Westin brand feel you'd expect: nicely appointed lobby (with their trademark scent), welcoming check-in staff and valet, clean rooms, the near-perfect Westin bed sleep experience. All staff were warm and responsive. The location, so close to Stanford and downtown Palo Alto, can't be beat. The only amenities missing here are a larger, more lounge-worthy swimming pool area (the small, courtyard pool doesn't feel as suited to So Cal higher-end hotel experience), a dining option that feels more open and social (the 2nd floor restaurant is nice, just feels a tad cramped onto the property) and perhaps a more enticing lobby bar (this one's staff accommodated requests yet has limited hours, so it just may not be the scene for this town and hotel). Overall, this is a great business travel stay or hotel for visiting Stanford families, just not the social/vacation spot you may seek.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. First class.

Best part was they were dog friendly. Our Coco got to stay at a 4 star hotel.

We left some clothing in the room and called the next day and the staff was more than happy to Fed Ex to our home. Excellent.

The Westin Palo Alto is in a great location; walking distance to Stanford and downtown Palo Alto. The staff seemed pleasant and the rooms were spacious and clean. I didn't like that we had to pay additional fees for use of the internet and parking.

I really like staying here. It is easy to find, parking is free and convenient, shopping and eating is a short walk from hotel. Nice rooms, very clean and well equipped. Pool is 84 degrees year around. The Westin is a great value.

The staff are helpful and friendly, food terrific, pool and hot tub in a lovely garden setting. Rooms are terrific, with a sofa and desk and nice outlook. Location is perfect, you can walk to many interesting shops and a variety of restaurants .

Great for meetings in Palo Alto. Close to University and Sandhill. WiFi and parking are not included in the price, unlike some other hotels in the area.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip and wished it was longer. Had a great night of sleep and a very comfortable room.

The staff was pleasant, the facility is reasonably clean, and the hotel is well-located with a convenient rental car office on site. Also, hotel is in walking distance to numerous dining and shopping places.
