First, what I didn't like. Arriving after a long rainy drive we entered the room and were assaulted by the smell of the room. I understand it is a dog friendly room but my dog is bathed regularly and does not have any odor. I asked at the desk about switching rooms but unfortunately I had to take my vacation over labor day weekend and everything was booked. I refused to walk barefoot on the carpet the entire weekend. Not only was the smell absolutely horrible ( I would ask your building manager to inspect personally) the beds were super low to the ground and had almost no support. The only thing that kept me from just returning home or finding another hotel was the friendliness of the lady at the front desk and the overall friendliness of the rest of the staff. I work in Sports Entertainment so I understand the challenges of staffing at the moment but in my opinion, if certain rooms are not up to your standards you shouldn't rent them out. And I guarantee if the hotel manager stepped into that room they would NOT let anyone pay to stay there. I don't believe I will ever stay at that property again. I will try your more premium hotels when i have longer to plan and won't be travelling on the weekend. I enjoyed the amenities and loved the staff and would assume those would be as good or better than sapphire falls.

Everything was excellent minus the couple fighting until 5 AM near our room. Hope they got everything figured out, but truly was an amazing resort and experience. Thank you!

Excellent hotel. Beautiful resort.

The main benefit of this hotel is its proximity to the Universal parks and the early hour entrance. The pool looked nice, but we never used it - we came here for the parks, not the pool. The restaurant had variable availability - they had staffing issues - so we never ate there. The boat shuttle was nice and we used that a few times. We also walked along the water to/from the restaurants and parks a few times. Security just before the restaurant area takes forever - take the boat in the morning - it has its own security which is much faster in crunch time. Check-in was a hot mess, with very slow activity and no sense of urgency. My reservation through a third party didn't translate well, which didn't help any. While the facility overall is in good shape, it is showing age with its design and materials as well as some areas with obvious wear. Overall, this is a reasonable option to visit the Universal parks, but not a premium one. Should we return to this area, I would want a location on the water for easy access to the restaurants and parks, and this meets that criteria. We enjoyed our stay, but two days was long enough.

I paid 280 for a hotel of my choose but they told me I have to go to another of their branch with the same price that doesn’t deserve

The resort itself is nicely appointed with Polynesian artwork and sculpture. It really gives you a nice vacation feeling. That being said, we booked at the Lowe’s Sapphire and were moved because of its sudden closure. We were disappointed in our rooms view and the pool was disappointing. We booked the Sapphire for the pool... They originally told us we could use the pools at the other hotels and then told us we could not. My daughter was heartbroken.

We were there at the start of the pandemic. When I checked in I had to ask the concierge if she had hand sanitizer (she was keeping it behind the counter). Keypads were not wiped down. I never saw staff cleaning common areas like elevators or banisters, so since Management obviously put image over public safety I kept housekeeping out of my room for the three day stay.

The Hotel was great! The walk from the Universal was very long be sure to take the water taxis.

Very nice place. We enjoyed the pool, activities and food was great!

This is one of the best places to stay if you're going to be doing multiple days at universal. The boat service is awesome, you can buy all your ticket's in house as well. Early access to parks, no bus rides!! The pool, resturants and bars are great!! Definitely going to be staying here from now on when we come down for Halloween horror nights!!!

Loved it all. Great views. Boat shuttle was fun and convenient

Nice and new. Good price compared to other universal hotels

I love the open lobby and shop where you can get a quick bite to eat.

Amazing place, would definitely go back again. They offer a complimentary boat ride to the theme parks which is quite helpful and amusing. Staff do their best to please the guests. Beds were a little bit too soft for us, but overall a very nice place to stay with kids.
