The pool was dirty, the restaurant was closed and the hot tub was closed. The only reasons we picked this hotel. So we were very disappointed.

Nice hotel and breakfast! But my closet was with many ants, horrible!

The ugly: 1) Toilet would not refill after flush. Had to remove lid and jiggle fill valve to get it to refill. Facility guy came to look at it but did nothing to fix the problem. 2) The bathroom was gross with black mold on the ceiling in various places. 3) Room smelled very heavily of mildew. Gross. 4) The tub and shower curtain were not cleaned. Hair all over tub and bottom of curtain yellowed and smelly. Gross. 5) No microwave in room or lobby. 6) The AC is probably over-sized. This means that the room air is cooled too quickly so moisture is not removed. This creates air that is cold but still sticky, very unpleasant. 7) Staff was hit and miss. First night we called the front desk for an extra blanket but it was never delivered. The next night we did the same and it was delivered. 8) The hot tub was not in service. 9) The pool deck appears to have been renovated recently but it is not sloped properly so there is a lot of mildewy/moldy standing water. The Good: 1) The fridge kept everything very cold. 2) The AC system worked very well. 3) The linens and towels were all fresh and clean. 4) The bed was very comfortable and I really enjoyed the real down/feather pillows. 5) The shower head was great. This may seem like a strange comment but I have stayed in many hotels with really crappy shower heads, this one was awesome. 6) The bathroom exhaust fan was working. Most hotels seem to keep their central exhaust fans off. That is bad news. Overall experience: meh

Everyone was super friendly, really beautiful hotel, but I was charged more than was my confirmation text from orbitz said. I didn’t catch it until later, but it was right there in front of me when I looked later. It just so happens that the gentleman checking in right in front of me was charged more, but he caught it and it was fixed. Just make sure you double check what you are actually charged and what you are supposed to. E charged.

The best things about this hotel are the friendliness of the staff, the comfortable beds, and the delicious food.

Room did not smell fresh. Water damage in restroom was peeling the wall paper and linens were not fresh. Main issue. I paid through orbitz and I was double charged again on my card. Staff said they were reversing. Still not done.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was great for attending the state track meet.

I stay here since it is near work when I travel. They are currently undergoing renovations which are needed. The rooms are very clean and well appointed.

The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The view of the grounds from my window was spectacular.

Bartender was great and so was the food! Very comfortable, quiet and everything I needed!

The hotel was nicely appointed, clean and friendly. I hear they are redoing the entire place though. I had a first floor room with a little patio that was very nice. However, there was a light outside the room that shown in and the blackout curtains didn't close all the way. The restaurant had a bad night when I was there. The food was good but the service was atrocious. I do think it was a bad night but beware. Without a car there are two restaurants across the street which was the only other option.

The staff were the best I have seen in a long time. The was a little problem but the staff took it in their own hands, very well pleased.

The staff absolutely made this stay amazing!! Everyone was super nice and friendly from the moment we walked in until our check out! The only "bad thing" was the refrigerator in out room had not been cleaned out for sometime beings the food from a previous guest was "growing" in it. All in all I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Enjoyed this hotel. Extremely nice staff and great location. Downside was very noisy hotel guests...
