Good location. Clean property. Should main rooms better than what being done currently.

Very dirty and not taken care. Will never go back.

The place (Ritz Inn) was a sham. It was falling apart. I never even checked in. No wonder they had the "no refunds clause" because once you get there you surely will want your money back. Had to make another reservation on top of this one.

Free parking was what I was after. Great deal compared to neighboring properties which all charge from $18-$80/night for parking, but it's free here. [subsequent overnight parking is available for $20 even if you don't stay there. Well, for the price you pay, you can't expect a luxury property. But I think it met the minimum expected. It even had a hair dryer!

We have stayed here before and enjoyed it. When we arrived this time it was under new management. Still an exceptionally friendly staff and very helpful. Rooms are decent, beds are comfortable. Pretty clean room. The only thing i didnt care for was wifi hardly worked in our room however did just outside our door, and also no real thermostat for our room. Would definitely stay here again for the price and proximity to the falls, fallsview casino and activities!

If you're looking for basic accommodations near Niagara Falls, this is an excellent choice. It's not fancy but it has all of the basics you'll need for an overnight stay and the price can't be beat. The front desk staff was friendly and parking at the motel is free for guests (which is not common in this area). They offer free walking maps of the surrounding area which came in handy. Our room was a good size and had a full size refrigerator as well as a kitchen sink and microwave. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure. It was a 5-minute walk to Fallsview Blvd, and perhaps another 5 minutes to the scenic road that borders the waterfalls. There are several restaurants and shops close by. This motel is a wonderful bargain in an otherwise pricey area.

The reviews were correct. It is a short walk to the Falls. I've a larger body type and am nearing the big 50, but I walked to the Falls without issue. Walking back however, was tough, I was exhausted. There are taxis; the fee for the taxi could've been the same as Rumpelstiltskin's and I would have paid it, because after walking by the Falls all day and night, I could walk no more. I would have loved to take the taxi back to the hotel and relaxed in the pool, but the hotel doesn't have one. I know...but no matter what any travel co says, there isn't one. You can get a good relaxing massage, however, from the incredible water pressure the hotel has in the shower. If you barely turn the water on, you get a gentle massage. If you slightly turn the handle for more water you can exfoliate as if you were directly under the falls themselves; you can take however many layers of skin off that you want to remove. As far as style, I'm afraid you must bring whatever style you have with you, the hotel is fresh out. Just pretend you are flashing back in time and in your best Austin Powers voice just look at the decor and say "groovy man." But as outdated as the furniture is, the place is clean. There was a cigarette burn in the 1970's era blanket, but is was clean and fresh laundered. The workers went out of their way to get you anything you needed. The five of us shared the room with each other, no critters. The AC is good for white noise only. Cheaper and clean, nothing more.

I wanted a jacuzzi room for our Christmas stay, but I didn't have hundreds of dollars to drop on essentially a tricked out bathtub. I was so happy to find The Ritz In , as it completely fit the bill! Kitschy decor with color schemes from the 70s and 80s, mirrored walls, and THANKFULLY tile and linoleum flooring. (It's so gross to see pics of a jacuzzi tub with carpet all around it!!) And they really do put the swan towels on the bed for your arrival! It was pretty awesome! The family that owns the place is really helpful and friendly - we had a question for them once or twice, and they were always extremely eager to please. The room was very clean, and they gave you a miraculous amount of towels! We appreciated the electric fireplace that does double duty as a secondary heater, as it was quite cold when we were there. Overall we had a really lovely time on a reasonable budget - thanks The Ritz Inn!!

The Ritz is not a 4star hotel, but the accommodations were reasonably priced for the area in which we stayed. It was close to all attractions that we visited, and quiet. If you are looking for value for your money, then this would be the ideal spot.

If you don't mind staying at a motel, it was nice. Walking distance to the falls. Close to several nice resteraunts. A refridgerator, microwave, and a sink. Great water pressure in the shower. The staff was helpful. And all at a reasonable cost for Niagara Falls.

This place is more like an off road side motel. furnished with odds and ends of unmatched used furniture an old half working air-conditioner broken lamp taped together with duct tape, broken plastic hangers, female desk clerk was rude. To some it up an unscrary bates motel.

During booking of this hotel; we were told as a 3 star hotel; but it's like a 1 star less; the hotel is not good; though inside the room some what ok; not worth for the money.

The room is big with big (full size 2-door fridge), but it's just like a run down motel, not worth a three star. The staff is friendly though. Orbitz needs to inspect the place before giving/accepting listing.

Look, if you're looking for a Hilton or a Hampton Inn, go there. This place is clean, convenient, and best of all they are FRIENDLY. So helpful and nice. When we wanted to use the pool, one of the employees actually came out and cleaned maybe 10 leaves that had fallen into it so we'd be comfortable. Really lovely people. Our room had a full-sized fridge and little kitchenette area with a sink - plus they provided plates and utensils. Since we were traveling on a budget, this was perfect. You're not going to get better for this price.

The biggest issue we had with this hotel was that it was not what we'd expected of a 3-star hotel despite the rating. The smell of smoke was nauseating and there was an extra charge for 4 of us to stay in a room despite reserving two queen beds (anything over 2 people was extra $10 each). On the good side owners did seem to care about the place and each room had clean floors, clean sheets, and a clean bathroom (the smoke smell being the only real cleanliness issue). We were only there for one night and that was enough.

very good

Close to Casino

I picked this room based on previous reviews. We were going to be out all day so all we needed was a clean bed and a good enough shower. The room was old and there were a whole bunch of mosquitoes. That was my biggest gripe - the mosquitoes. Other than that the location is good and the owners are very friendly and helpful.
