The receptionist was extremely helpful and accommodating. He even help me with my luggage and I had slot of stuff. Friendly staff and location is close to a lot of shopping, restaurant and grocery if needed. Therefore you can walk to most shops.

6pm checkin sucks the shared shampoo and conditioner and liquid soap bottles sucked the street noise so bad that they left you earplugs next to the bed The building itself sucked but the room was clean

Being in town for the marathon this was the perfect place to stay. Convenient to everything we needed. Small room, more hostel than hotel but everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

This is not the luxury "the Nomad Hotel". Do not be confused like I was. This is a hotel with a hallway and a security guard at the end. He tells you your room number and you go down some filthy hallways to a freight elevator. Then more really filthy, need-of-paint hallways and past shared bathrooms to your room. My room was clean, but the very small window had a huge AC unit in it so no view at all - and noisy.

I go to Manhattan for work often and this room was great -- everything was excellent, super kind staff. Ideal location for me for work and I just really appreciated the space, was the perfect combination of amenities and price point. I see how it's perfect for people going for vacation too, because I was dodging all the holiday shoppers on 5th crossing over to midtown east lol. As a semi-pro traveler, I give them a solid A grade / 5 stars.
