Double queen room was a good size and clean. Front desk staff was very friendly.

like location. like reasonable cost. like staff, who were very helpful regarding directions and NYC transportation access and system.

Smack dab in Chinatown right on East Broadway. Loved that it was right next to Manna Bakery, one of my favorites for milk tea and pineapple buns. Rooms felt very small though in comparison to some others I have stayed at in the same area. Check-in was on the second floor and required an elevator ride, which was not super convenient. Rooms were clean. However, walls felt thin and there was a very loud disturbance late Saturday night with a crew in the hallway fighting and smoking weed. Took awhile for security to deal with it, as if no one cared. I would suggest this hotel is not a great option for families, or maybe it was just a one-off for us...

I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels in Manhattan and considering the price, the space in the rooms was pretty decent. Rooms were fairly comfortable as well considering the price.

The location of this Hotel is excellent. Wish they could provide more amenities

The location is right in china town which is great and close to everything. But it was obvious as soon as we came in the room that they had bed bugs. We took photos and videos and checked out the same hour that we checked in and booked a hotel elsewhere. The hotel staff was nice and accommodating and refunded me, but the whole experience left me feeling like i needed 5 showers. Thank god we didn’t lay on the beds or put any of our belongings there. I feel bad writing this because they were nice but i think everyone deserves to know if they might sleeping in a room with bed bugs.

This is our second stay at the Hotel 91 and it was just as amazing as the first time. The location is perfect for those who want to be off the path a little but still have access to everything. The front desk clerk who checked us in, actually remember us from our previous stay, which adds a nice warm feeling to the stay. The staff is also very friendly and knowleabgle of the area and attractions. The hotels offers free coffe, and tea which is a life saver when we visit in the winter. The hotel also has amazing WiFi that is also free. You’ll have no trouble getting around with the sub being just a short walk away, and the hotel is a great pick up point for an uber or a cab. The Hotel 91 has become our go to place to stay when we visit New York City.

Not a problem for me, but those who have trouble sleeping due to noise should avoid, since near rapid transit rail lines.

This hotel was economical in pricing compared to other hotels in the Chinatown area. Since it's in Manhattan, you'd have to expect a little higher price than some other areas. Location is easy to remember as its name has the same number as address. The room looked pretty clean on the surface. There were some small small stains on curtains and sheets though. I believe sheets are changed every 2 or 3 days but not daily (was able to tell by location of stain). Our room had one window opening overlooking the backstreet. There were actually 2 lockable window panes (1 inner and 1 outer window) which helped minimize the noise from the passing train. I was never bothered by train noise that other reviews mentioned. The double windows might be to address the noise complaints. The queen beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Housekeeping changes towels, makes bed, replenishes toiletries daily as needed. A/C is wall mounted and does not reach washroom. Signs ask to keep noise down after 10 PM. Walls seem thin as conversations inside room are audible outside room. Lounge area with tea, coffee, vending machines on 2nd floor where check-in and check out are done. Coin operated laundry on 7th floor. Guest accessible computer with internet access and printer plus ice machine on 4th floor. The building has total 7 floors with 1st floor empty. Location is convenient as it's only 5 to 10 minute walk to all kinds of public transit options. Overall a good stay.

The room was clean and the staff was wonderful 😀, this is was our second time staying at this hotel we were very pleased and would highly recommend it .

The bed was lumpy and the linens felt like they had been in use for multiple decades - unusually thin, and harsh on the skin. They had that feeling that they may not really be clean. The shower had a wad of hair in it, which is a bit off putting as well, but I get that it can happen. However, for the price, I think they could afford better linens.

Always affordable, clean, lightning fast check in, near the F train, amazing Chinese food.

The hotel is pretty bare bones. Not Fancy. Few amenities. There’s a weird smell, but if you open the window it airs out a little. the rooms were small (no closet) but clean. Oddly the TP is better than most places lol. The staff is nice and helpful. Close to public transits; so fairly easy to get where you want to go. There’s so much good food close by too. For the price and location it’s reasonable and practical.

Great location in lower manhattan. Was on sevent floor great view of World Trade Center. Was near subway train but wasn't so loud at all, brought ear plugs for nothing. Hotel is very clean inside. And staff is super friendly. Would defenetly stay there again.

Close to everything, me and my kid walked everywhere! The subway is close, deli around the corner open 24/7. Hotel is good. Clean room, nice, helpful staff. Not a snooty place, but nice. Chinatown.

Great price for the comfort, location and amenities provided at this hotel. The only downside is the noise from train track but u quickly got used to it and it just became background noise. The bed is extremely comfortable. Would stay here if u visit New York again.

It was pretty good stay except for the subway noise. Hall way is outdated and little too dark but room was liveable. Staff was overall kind and helpful.

The hotel has one small elevator that is super slow. There wasn't a fridge so I didn't have a place to put my medication. They did allow me to have an early check in which was nice but the room was super hot and the a.c. was not the easiest to work and didn't cool the room very much. Which was sad cause the room wasn't big at all. The only nice thing really was the housekeepers very friendly. The front desk people were rather touchy. Bring your own toiletries they ones their aren't the greatest.
