The hotel’s proximity to everything we wanted to do was fantastic, but there were some issues. Our TV malfunctioned multiple times and got different responses from different people from the front desk. Our bed was very creaky, turning in our sleep creaky. One of the shower lights were flickering so much it turned our bathroom into a strobe. Upon check out, we found out the lobby bathroom had flooded but the woman behind the counter was nice enough to give us our key back to our room with no issues. Overall, it was a nice stay but recurrent little issues built up.

Awesome

Very convenient to theaters and many restaurants. Rooms were nice, typical NY size. Didn't like the shower without a full door. Water was all over the floor. Check in process was terrible. Wouldn't let us check in at 2:40 and then at 3:05 there was a line 10 deep with only ONE person at the desk. Earlier in the day asked about checking in earlier, 2 people were there. Told us that rooms were ready then but for a $50 fee, no thanks!! The room was sitting empty, could have made a nice impression to allow early check in.

The rooms were tiny. And no wifi. Staff never answered calls when I had a question.

Me encanto la habitacion, la limpieza, el servicio, la ubicacion. En fin, nos encanto y volveremos pronto.

Great location in Times Square, staff very friendly, Great value for the dollar hotel and would definitely stay here again

The staff were helpful but.... I reserved a room that was supposedly "deluxe" with a queen bed and "multiple views." Total lie. Tiny closet of a room with one twin bed. After bringing this to the attention of the front desk, they transferred me to a room with a queen bed with no top sheet - just a clearly dirty blanket, two filthy windows a few feet from a brick wall. Terrible -- stay away!

The property is near to differentes attractions.

The Family room easily accommodated my family of 5. 2 full size beds and 2 twin beds. The bathroom remodel was excellent also.

Great location, room was perfect for our family of 5! Room was clean, I don’t like that my kids were hassled about showing room keys any time they would use bathroom in the lobby (they don’t want outside people using their restrooms) understand, but I didn’t have keys for all of my kids. otherwise hotel was great, staff was very nice and I would stay there again.

Not free wifi …

Rooms are not what you see in orbitz site, besides they hold $100 x day for what? As a security deposit? Crazy. Don’t have concierges, don’t clean the rooms, the hotel is a real deadbeat.

Good hotel, walking distance to Times Square. We liked it. They did not have a luggage storage area so we had to pay an early check-in.

Great hotel and good service. Thank you to Jose for the warm welcoming.

The hotel was decent, though it needed to be cleaned better. My boyfriend cut his foot on a rather large piece of glass that was swept into a corner. When we looked around we found smaller pieces of glass all over the floor and dirt and garbage swept into the corners of the room.

I booked "deluxe" room with two beds. Website advertised roof top terrace and view from the room. Room was extremely small. Only in Japan I experienced smaller rooms. Room lacked table. We were unable to eat our take out food at a table. We had to eat it in bed. Shower was very small, it had limited shielding and water splashed all over the bathroom. Bathroom ventilation did not work. There was no view from the room except at a construction wood (scaffolding). When I asked about the roof top terraces I was told that it only exists as a part of some room and there is no access to it. There was no room service. I was told that I can put trash bag into the corridor and someone will pick it up. Two days later that trash bag was still sitting there.

We have stayed here before and the experience was good. Even though the name of the hotel can be hard to find which one their using (Trype, or Gallivant). We arrived earlier with the expectations we can leave our suitcases in the luggage area and they hold it until your room is ready, well we arrived there and they told us since COVID they can’t do that anymore. So instead of toting our suitcases around the city for 4 hours we paid the 50$ for early check in. We get to the room and it was not like the photos, it was a smaller than what’s shown for the Queen Trype deluxe. You can tell they tried to remodel it but just didn’t suffice. The bathroom is so small, the shower sprays all over the floor as the glas s is way too small. The safe didn’t work, not a huge deal as the room attendances don’t come in the rooms at all. Ac worked great, the beds were comfy. It was a mediocre hotel, nothing to brag about. I would find a different one next time, if the price is right this is a great stay. This hotel is 1 block from time square. It’s a great location of taking the subway, easy to get a taxi and Uber. We visit NYC 2-3 times a year and we won’t be back for awhile as the city has changed in a lot of ways.
