Location is GREAT!! Room is cute!! I did see one cockroach crawl up the wall as soon as we walked in the room but then nothing again after that. There is no free parking and the cheapest they offer in the area is a "discounted" $35 for 24 hours.... a parking ticket costs the same so park wherever you want. There is no microwave/fridge in the room. There isn't a phone in the room either. The room is soooooo HOT so bring a fan... NOT joking. The widows do open to offer some relief as well. The elevator is extremely shady... I really thought I was going to die when we got there and took our bags up. I refused to use it for the rest of the time and instead climbed 7 flights of stairs because I was so afraid of it. The "partial" notice to vacate is also a little off putting. Especially since my room was literally one door down the hall from a "vacated room". Overall, really not a bad hotel but has the very VERY bare minimum.

I like the location , very close to subway and restaurants. and its 2 stops ( subway) to TIME SQUARE.

I knew that we have to shared a bathroom, but at least I thought it was nice but no 🙄... the hallways smells so bad. The a.c didn’t work so we slept in a hot room, good thing we were drunk when we got to the room

Very clean room and comfortable bed. Shared bath with several other rooms (as in a hostel) but one expects that for the price. Bath was also very clean. Excellent upper west side location near express subway station. I good choice for the budget conscious.

Nice area, and good to have an inexpensive option. May not be your cup of tea, as amenities (room and on-site) are minimal. But if a bed, bath, closet, and wifi are sufficient, it will work.

The only bathroom on the floor does not work. Same with the above and below.

Hotel is located near train station and restaurants. Location is good! Rooms are clean, but they are small. There is not much walking space in room.

You get what you pay for. Neighborhood safe and eateries nearby. Can park on street if a bit lucky. Hotel when renovated in remote past tried to get most rooms out of a certain amount of space so room very compact. Can't adjust room temp., though is an overhead fan in room. No AC. Somewhat noisy place. Biggest negative is shared bathroom for a # of rooms and not that clean considering a # of people use it and not so tidy. Need long cord for hair dryer if going to use one since no electrical socket in bathroom and none near mirror in room. It's cheap and you get what you pay for I'd say overall. If can deal w/ shared bathroom, check it out.

Bathrooms are old, and the floors really are not in great shape. Definitely needs some repairs and updates

I can stress how disappointing my experience was. Nothing matched the pictures online. And the staff were also not helpful at all. My biggest problem cleanliness

Beds were small for two, I think. All the rest was excellent

Very upset, the hotel charges high rates ($185 average per night) but it is a terrible value. No air conditioning, bathrooms that are a shame, old beds, nasty smells, run down and dirty carpets, an elevator that in its registration states it is not suitable for persons. Very poor value for money!

I did not select a hostel room with shared amenities. The room I selected was a standard room. I was very disappointed once I checked in and realized that there was no bathroom and that my room was literally just 1 really small room.

Good experience quick check in very nice spot would recommend to any of my friends

The manager was vindictive and rude . Qualities no manager should have me and husband and child all stay in this hotel for about 14 odd days we are from Florida and this was our cheapest option while there my child was bitten by bed bugs I seen countless cockroach the shared bathroom was atrocious and I brought it all to her attention. I left back to Miami but husband had to stay one more week and she then (in a vindictive way) told my husband why would u stay here isn't this a dirty place knowing that we are not from NYC and only he had no where esle to go .

We had a wonderful experience in New York as well as a very nice pleasant stay at the hotel Very easy check in and the front desk staff was very knowledgeable courteous and polite

The hotel was nice. If you are like me and don't need super luxury and would rather spend your money on other things on the trip this place is great. The beds comfy and the pillows were great. I slept quite well all three nights. The bathroom is shared with 6-8 rooms. I only had to wait once the entire trip. It was safe and secure. The hotel is only a few blocks from the subway and a few places to eat. Great location.
