Area was far from everything, the internet was so bad it kept disconnecting the whole time we stayed and the staff said there was nothing to do about it. Rate was 94 and when we wanted to extend they said it was 225 so we changed to a better hotel in NY Times square. Do not recommend

I liked everything. Clean, great price, bathroom and coffee extras were perfect. The only thing the room doesn’t have is a small fridge for snacks and beverages, ie milk for my coffee. In NYC, it’s nice to be able to buy a few things instead of eating out all the time. Otherwise I’ve never stayed in a boutique hotel before and was super comfortable here. Safe and great front desk people!!

Clean. Felt safe. Quiet.

I loved the price, the location, and the staff! I would totally stay there again!

Very clean and decently priced option, especially given how challenging and overpriced Manhattan is.

Close to financial district but more affordable because of Chinatown/Bowery location. Clean, modern, sound-proofing is pretty good (I stayed in a corner room on the 2d floor directly across from the Manhattan Bridge, but had no problem with street noise!). only problem for a business traveler was no chair to allow work at desk -- only sitting option was the bed. But would still consider coming back.

There was no room key! So the security guard had to take me to my room with the master key, that is very unsafe for a woman traveling alone. The furniture were old and crappy and when I got ready to check out there was no receipt be cause the printer was jam.. unacceptable!!!

I love the location. The hotel is also very nice inside. Another plus is proximity to the financial district and proximity to public transit.

Really nice hotel with a beautiful room yet housecleaning staff was very loud in the hallways.

Good location in Chinatown Manhattan, on Canal St and Bowery, right next to a Popeye's. The lobby smells like biscuits! Staff were super friendly and accommodating. They will hold your luggage if you arrive early or need to depart later in the day. No cafeteria, but you are super close to a TON of food options, so that should not deter you from booking here. Hotel was very clean and cozy. I loved the window bench, where you can curl up with a cup of hot beverage of choice and read if you wanted to stay inside. Room had a Keurig but the Green Mountain coffee was unpalatable to me. To each their own. The rooms were super spacious and better than a lot of the hotels I have stayed in the area. I heartily recommend this hotel!

Great location staff was very friendly and helpful

This hotel has a nice location with good places to eat near by.

I’ll start with my only down side, the near by parking garages are pretty pricey, but it is NYC. It’s an easy walk to the LES and great restaurants. I was exhausted when I got there after traveling and the woman who checked us in was so kind and welcoming, it turned me around, she was a friendly face to have during our trip. The room and bathroom were on the larger scale for booking an average room in NYC. The decor was modern and over all, very clean. I would stay there again.

Nice boutique hotel, very convenied to Metro, China town, and Asian New Year celebrations. Very reasonable pricing - great value!

Leon hotel is set in a very convenient location to Chinatown and Little Italy. The staff are very friendly.

Hotel was very convenient to get to and close to China town and subway to go to other parts of manhattan.

I came into town for a big volleyball tournament in china town and came across this hotel, it was only 7 blocks away from the site I was playing at so it was very convenient for me. Room was clean and modern so I couldn't complain, I plan to stay here again next year!

Please accept our apologies for the sporadic WIFI interruptions. Spectrum our service provider experienced intermittent outages over several days which affected our operations as well since we rely on internet access to operate our computer system. Rates change based on demand and can increase sharply. Glad you found a better option in Times Square.

Thank you for the outstanding review. I agree a fridge would make things more convienent for travelers leftovers, milk and snacks. Perhaps during our next renovation we will consider adding that amenity, Most importantly thank you for mentioning the great front desk staff.
