I was really nervous about people giving so many bad reviews. I stayed in NYC area many times and this is actually not too bad. It is lower than US standard but at least the towels and sheets are cleaner than Motel 6 quality. I stayed at very upscale and expensive (>$500/night) hotels in Manhattan but some were even worse than this one. Worst thing is the parking situation. There are only about 15 spots. The streets around the hotel is OK to park 7pm-8am. The area seems reasonably safe. If you use public transportation, the subway station is just a few blocks away. WiFi signal was very weak and intermittent. It may not be easy to figure out how to switch to shower. Pull the golden ring under the faucet. Overall, this is a good choice for the budget. If you don't have a car, this may be good.

This hotel was the worse hotel I was stayed in my life

The staff was little unprofessional and there was no daily room service like cleaning the room and changing towels. We stay there for 4 days but they didn’t even change our bedsheets I was very disappointed with the service the only reason I stay there is because of free parking.

There was no microwave in the room, there was a lot of smoking in the other rooms even though it was nonsmoking.

Unbelievable but so true. My room was switched 5 times. First I went to the lobby to inform the front desk my room as c was not working and there was no hot water. The clerk victor came to the room checked out the problem and said he would change my room. We walk to the lobby he gives me a new rokm key, I go to the room same issue. I go back to the lobby he changes my room again for the 3rd time. When I go the room and turn the ac on the machine starts smoking up the entire room. I go back down to the front desk to inform the clerk, he goes with me to the room to check the problem and by then the room is full of smoke. He then goes back to the front desk, gives me another room key for the 4th time, then I go to the room and once the again the ac was not working. I once again went to the front desk, he changed my room for the 5th time and finally after all the back and forth I got a room that was functional. I asked to speak to with a manager, I was told there was no manager available until tomorrow morning, meanwhile this happened early afternoon. Besides all this, Orbitz has this hotel listed as breakfast included and parking available. I was told the next morning that breakfast was not available due to covid. Also I had to park in the stree, the clerk said I could not park my pickup truck in the parking lot because it was to big. Terrible experience!!!

Shower wouldn’t turn off, toilet wouldn’t stop running. Fridge wasn’t working. No one at the desk after hours that could help. No Windows in at least some of their first floor rooms

The room bed was not good bcoz the bedsheets had torn. N it was old n I have the pictures of the old bedsheets. Very disappointed.. not at all happy..

The room was filthy. There was dirty underwear hanging from the shower curtain. One of the bed spreads looked like there was literally crap on it. There was a smell coming from the shower drain when the water was turned on that made my stomach turn. There was no coffee or cups in the room. The pillows were flat and I know there were other issues that I’m sure my memory has intentionally blocked out to protect my sanity.

The room that they first gave us was not cleaned and not ready went back got another room the second room was dark and dingy the bathtub had long black hair, the shower rod was falling off, there was mildew, the window was dirty and it was very dark in the basement level. NOT what it looked like on the website!!! The breakfast was a joke cereal and some bread. And the cleaning staff was so loud and noisy.

Good location and access to other interesting spots within the city.

Close to any and easy access to the city you get connect to the close stores and also ge TV the suttle

Unfortunately I am forced to stay at this location due to the proximity to my clients office.

The room was a good size, the pillows were very comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast. Great location, close to the 7 train.

Staff was horrible. My request for extra towels was never fulfilled

Dirty and worn out. Would not recommend. Questionable stain on the room carpet, multiple amenities not operational, very limited hotel parking, black mold on the ceilings of the room, bad smells coming from the heater. This place shouldn’t even be considered.

By NYC standards and price, the room was a good size. The free breakfast included a wide variety of fresh donuts and pastries, as well as excellent bagels. They gladly held suitcases on check-in and check-out days. The location is convenient to Manhattan (and much of Brooklyn) via subway and bus for those on a budget. There are some good food options within walking distance, including an excellent Ecuadorian restaurant and a solid slice joint. The main drawback is the hotel is showing some signs of age and undergoing a lot of repairs. It's also along a busy street with an elevated subway track, which could be noisy depending on the location of your room. Finally, the bed was not comfortable at all. Overall, however, we enjoyed out stay and would choose this hotel again.

This hotel is a 1 star. The rooms and carpeting were past its time. The bed was pretty hard and the sheets were a bit icky. The best thing about it is how close it is to the 7 train, to the city, and food like supermarkets, mcdonalds and a few diners and other restaurants. This place was pretty packed despite everything so clearly people only care about the price.
