For an overnight stay it was clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the city from our room... as long as you can overlook the cemetery. It was also convenient to Citi Field and Mid-town where we had to get to. Parking is limited so we took an Uber to and from the stadium so as not to lose our spot. Only negative was that we weren't able to connect to the wi-fi and had to use our data. We did call the desk and they said they would look into it. If they did call back, we were at the park so never got an answer. Staff was pleasant.

The front staff girl when we checked in was very helpful. She also graduated from my old High School (20 years after me..Lol), so it was cool running into a fellow HS graduate :-). The rooms were clean, the staff efficient, and the breakfast was exactly what we were looking for. My wife and I would definitely stay there again the next time I'm back in NYC.

I arrived a little early from JFK after a very long flight and ask if I could check-in 10 am and was told no but to check back @12 noon so around 12;45pm I enter the lobby and sat down with my luggage and the girl which I spoke to 2 hours before didn't remember speaking with me two hours ago. I was so surprised anyway it was 1:45 pm I ask if there was some room available she said I try to see what I can do, She then assigned a room to me, I was so happy to finally take a shower and get some sleep.

The shuttle service was great. Management was not so great. Our toilet kept running water constantly and we had to remove the top lid from the toilet just to flush it. When we brought up to the management she said that she knew which room and toilet I was taking about but Maintenace wouldn’t be in until 11 the following day. So knowing that the problem was a persistent one why hadn’t it been fixed prior to our stay. Maintenace never showed up to fix it. FYI it’s a the flapper that needs to be replaced. Easy fix but I guess not easy enough or important enough. The tub was so stopped up. When bathing the water would raise up all the way to the ankles. The woman offered to bring batteries for the remote because that didn’t work as well. The next day I had to get another remote.

The area was great the staff gave us some history and the hotel was clean. Please have creamer for the coffee not just milk only complaint.

They have a shuttle to take you to the trains or airport from the hotel and they will pick you up from either at no extra charge.

We booked on-line through Orbitz and were supposed to have room with King Bed. We were given room with 2 Queen beds. When we complained the blame was placed on Orbitz for booking a room that was not available. We were given no option to get room with King at any time during our stay

This hotel's management and administrative abilities is terrible. They had a pipe break in this facility on what was supposed to be the day of our check-in. My group was all informed that they canceled mine and everyone's reservations and did not offer to put us up in another hotel in the area. Just good luck finding a place. They did not actually cancel my reservation, but proceeded to call me on the evening of check-in and asked where we were. I said, you called to cancel because of the pipe break, so I better not see a charge on my crdt card. So they called to cancel our reservation and then called to ask where we were. Horrible Cust Service. Luckily, we had a back-up plan for our stay in NYC. Won't ever do business with them.

A little trouble at check in. There were no King Rooms and our reservation was for a King Room. The Desk Staff worked it out and got us a room with King Bed. Took 25 minutes to check in.

Excellent. Staff were very friendly. The place was clean. Water and coffee were available all day and breakfast was available for extended time. The free shuttle service to airport is also great.

Only one night stay. Courtesy bus took us to train station at 61st St / Woodside to catch the "7" train which can take you to the Met's stadium or US Open Tennis complex. There are also a few small shops near the train station. Short walk up the hill from the hotel took us to O'Neill's restaurant which is part sports bar and part restaurant with good food. Courtesy bus took us to LaGuardia in the morning. Housekeeper on the 4th floor likes to sing and is quite good at it. If you should hear her, please compliment her.

Staff very helpful. Location not that great because nothing around but a cemetery. But , the free shuttle makes up for it. They will drop you off at metro and airport. Good complementary breakfast. Rooms clean.

Staying at the Comfort Inn in Maspeth, Queens allowed us to save on lodging and parking and enjoy more attractions and eateries in Manhattan. The ride into Manhattan was smooth... hotel shuttles were timely, drivers were friendly, and the Woodside/61st St. station serviced only one train, the 7 (only locals, never saw an express). Traveling with two teenage daughters, I was concerned about the safety of the Woodside neighborhood having never been to Queens. It was safe, there was nothing suspicious whatsoever. Hotel was relatively new, it was clean and comfortable with a better than average continental breakfast. Kids thought that Mt. Zion Cemetery was weird and creepy, I thought it was rather novel and unique. Either way, every slept fine. If you want to do Manhattan on the cheap and don't mind staying in another borough, this is a great choice. Two thumbs up for what we needed.
