I went to NYC and chose Arlo hotel specifically for the view from the bed. The view was not bad but, there are a few buildings under construction and some empty surrounding the hotel which isn’t nice to look at. The rooms are super tiny with no room to walk. Feels kind of cramped like an airplane bathroom. From some rooms, you can see directly into other Arlo guests bedrooms. I thought it was cool and each guest knew to be careful anyway. It’s a bit on the pricy side for such a tiny space. With all that said. Don’t take my honesty as a sign not to visit Arlo. It’s a beautiful hotel & and I loved my time there. I would visit again if the price were lower.

Everything was excellent.

I was super excited about staying at the Arlo, it has been on my list for a while. Check in went smooth paid $55 plus a $20 deposit fee so $75 for valet parking basically. When opening the door to my room I was in shock that the rom was so small, literally a box! My boyfriend is around 6'4 and it was a shock to see how he took up most of the room. Also paid for the city view room and had a slither of a window to "see the city" Super disappointed in this stay. The heat in the room also did not work. Honestly feel like if you don't book the king room with the 360 view it's pointless to stay here.

Loved the views & compact sized rooms! Very clean & well kept.

We really enjoyed staying in the hotel, small room, but nice and cozy, friendly staff and a great location. The rooftop is beautiful and has an amazing view of the city.

Safe, easy, fast check-in. Friendly staff and efficient workers. Great ambiance upon walking into the lobby and on the second floor lounge area. Clean, modern hotel with a great view of city buildings from our room (2507). Rooms are small, but there is tons of hidden storage. Hooks for coats are on the wall along with eight hangers for clothes, an umbrella, mini fridge, and safe underneath bed. Not much privacy for the bathroom/toilet area so make sure you are comfortable with the person you are staying with (lol). Great lighting in room with a full length mirror. Guest WiFi available to stream Netflix or other apps. A little bit of a wait for the elevators at times, but that is expected with social distancing right now. All you need is a little patience and an extra 5-8 minutes added to your plans prior to leaving (for a reservation for example). A trip to the rooftop during the morning or afternoon is a must. You may need reservations to check it out at night. Great location - 15 minute walk to Rockefeller Center or Times Square. 5 minute walk to Madison Square Park. Restaurants with nice outdoor seating all around the vicinity of the hotel. Loved that this hotel had valet parking.

Booked a Queen City Room for our stay. After checking in we decided to upgrade to the Queen sky view but it wasn’t available till our second night which was fine but they did over charge for the upgrade which was cheaper and the site and was told I would get it adjusted to the online price and never did. Over all the upgrade was still worth it and would definitely stay again ! We had a view to Empire State Building and waking up to the view in the morning was everything. Ladies at the front desk were very friendly at checkout check in was the total opposite but completely different staff of all males.

Everything was great except for the tv signal was bad the whole stay I was there and the hotel wasn’t able to get it fix, I was disappointed on that because I did wanted to watch tv during my stay

Overall, not a bad experience. The cons: the room was very small, the rooftop terrace required reservations at a certain time, the elevators took a very long time to come, and there is valet parking but you cannot go in & out. There is no microwave and a very small fridge, no real kitchen, so don’t plan on bringing back leftovers to the hotel. They may offer a microwave in the lobby but I didn’t care to check. Other than that, the view was nice, the showers are spacious & good temperature, and the pillows & comforters provided were amazing! Just to note: if you are somebody who likes privacy in a bathroom, you may want to rethink the hotel. The door does has an opening at the very top, and is transparent so you can see very vague images through the door. Just as an FYI!

Easy walking distance to Penn Station. Check-in/-out was super efficient.

My super short stay was fine but the staff was not that welcoming.

Initially thought the room was tiny but got used to it and had perhaps the best lodging exp. ever
