Very unique stay! Very clean and comfortable. Parking is $30/night, but very convenient. Staff when I checked in was super friendly, however, when I checked out that was not the case. I misunderstood how the parking works when you pay for your parking through the hotel. The woman at the desk was very unfriendly, and rude about it. Would have given the stay 5 stars if not for that.

We loved the aesthetics of the hotel, high ceilings, etc. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant in the hotel Compere Lapin, was amazing, great food, drinks, and ambiance Where we ran into an issue was the construction happening on the other side of the wall from us, what started as lite tinkering turned into full on jackhammering and floor shaking. They moved us to a smaller room on the opposite side of the hotel and gave us a bit of a discount.

The property looks good in the pictures I was there for a few days. We got our room late. We waited in the lobby and they said they would text us. I had to ask them at 4:30 if the room was ready. When we got to the room we found 2 roaches. And we found another on the day we we’re leaving. I told the front desk and they offered a $70 credit. The restaurant was closed sun-Wednesday. No maids service . Only every 2 days. Saw housekeeping in the hallways and ask for extra towels and she said they had a towel shortage. Great location but, I would never stay here again

Funky lil hotel! I absolutely loved the aesthetic. Each room has a different piece of art and mine just fit my personality and likes so dang well. I know that wasn't planned but it felt perfect. The bathroom in the room we had was a tad small and if I changed anything about this room would be the size of the restroom as it was snug trying to shut the door and my husband and I often left it open just for comfort. The other thing would be the door to the restroom. Its super cute says WC and has a little glass window, however middle of the night or early morning potty breaks couldn't go unnoticed. Reading the above you would think... wow, they hated it, but nay nay! If I could've snuck the damn bed from the room, I would have! That was handsdown the most amazing bed I've ever slept in. The young lady, Beattie, at the front desk was the sweetest every time we saw her and acknowledged everyone even if she was busy. I'd give this hotel a solid 9 out of 10. Parking lot across the way stays full so it was harder to find parking but thats anywhere you go in New Orleans. If you're looking at The Old No. 77 Hotel, book it. Just do it.

Really nice historic hotel, the staff we very helpful and polite. The only thing I didn't like was the noise, in our room, you can hear everything including what was going on outside. Only on the last day did I realize the window (which are long french windows) the glass was popped out and that was why we could hear everything from the outside. Also, the room didn't seem that clean including the bathroom. I expected it to be cleaner, our room was extremely humid when we walked in, the air was not on and also the window issue made it hard to keep the room fresh. some It was disappointing seeing that the lobby was so nice and the amount charged to stay at the hotel. They also charged extra for amenities ( gym, bike rental) that we never used, I don't think that is fair. Pay for what you use is my opinion.

We stay in room 425. We love the decor and the size. During this time the hotel has very limited staff , the room could benefit from some dusting. From desk staff was welcoming and accommodating.

Hotel is awesome! Cool building and great staff. The hotel ai close enough but not in the middle of everything. That makes it perfect.

We didn’t have a great experience with this hotel. The parking is $30 a day and that’s not valet parking. The rooms do not have windows, unless you upgrade and when we was there no upgrade was available. The bar/restaurant has weird hours of operation and wasn’t ever available the entire time we stayed. Furthermore, the elevator is ran by 3 blind mice. NEVER AGAIN!!!

There’s a reason why this hotel has been in magazines. It’s phenomenal. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, the rooms are super unique and there’s small details throughout. This hotel is also just blocks away from the French Quarter and is right in the middle of the CBD so you’re close to everything. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, for sure will be my go to whenever I’m in New Orleans.

Great location. Nice room. Clean. Loved tge bathroom

I love the hotel it’s close the French Quarter and close to excellent restaurants.. and the staff was excellent Best customer service I’m definitely returning again

Very chic in the NOLA way, nicely renovated, a bit moldy but comfortable. Bed was great, everything was clean. No coffee machine in the room :( and none in the lobby before 7 am!!!

I loved the idea of the hotel and how IG presents it. However, my room itself was disgusting. Mold on the shower walls of the yellowed tub. Someone’s hair clip left in the bathroom and hair in the bed sheets. The carpeted room powerfully stank of mildew and mold. My allergies were immediate and I slept with my head under the covers to try to not inhale anything more than I had to. Immediately dressed and left in the AM and didn’t come back until I had to and immediately went to sleep, repeat. The check in desk ladies were polite but working in customer service myself, I could tell they didn’t want to be there but that didn’t bother me. The valet guys were great and the bar staff was perfect. I was so let down and am sad to say I’ll never return and regret booking there without asking unnecessarily specific questions beforehand.

Really great location close to French Quarter, Convention area many really great restaurants.

Great location, attentive staff, huge rooms, and smelled nice and clean! Can’t wait to come back.

No outlet in the bathroom for hairdryer. No tub to soak my sore feet from waking all day. Room did have a romantic feel.

Our reservation was for a room with a king bed. The room we checked in to was had a queen bed. Upon bringing this to the front desk, there was no effort in correcting the room situation. Given that we had prepaid for the hotel reservation via Orbitz, we were not offered any compensation for the smaller room. The room was visibly dirty, especially underneath furniture, which you can see. Shower had mildew and limescale. Very disappointing.

I am so sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your time with us. Our restaurant is open Sunday morning for brunch but is now closed on Monday and Tuesday. They reopen Wednesday evening for dinner service. Housekeeping has also been reduced and we are only offering service every three days, this is to help reduce contact between guests and staff as COVID numbers continue to rise. I hope you at least enjoyed your visit to New Orleans. Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Hey Ava, I am sorry you didn't enjoy your experience with us. Due to the coronavirus many operations at the hotel have had to change for the safety of our guests and staff. I hope you at least enjoyed the city of New Orleans.
