Hotelnis close to everything big plus .... like staff was very nice amd they helped us a lot ... it was great

Awesome loved the location and the room was very nice and cozy

This hotel is very old, and it’s not very well-maintained. It is very very basic. There are no basic amenities like closets, laundry pick up, the staff is not very helpful with questions about local events, etc. The hotel is in a run down condition. The hot water is at best warm, and it takes five minutes before there is any sign of hot water in the shower. Things are unkempt. The pool is of no use. The reason why I give this hotel 2 star review is because it is close to the parades, and bars and other happening places.

From the outside this is a nice looking old building. We arrived on a Thursdays around 11pm. The lady who checked us in was really nice and helpful. The room was horrible. The worst mattress I have ever slept on. As soon as you sit or barely move on you hear this load annoying sound. It was so Hard. I was unable to sleep as well as my boyfriend. My back was in horrible pain because the bed was so hard. I went to the front desk at 6am. They said at 3pm we can try another room. Thank God because when my boyfriend took a shower the shower clogged. It stayed with water 3 inches high for over an hour so there went my shower. The second room the bed was just as noisy and hard. The rooms we got were a lot smaller than the pictures. I mean small. The people who clean the room need to be re-trained. We were there for 5 days and only put the sign for the 3rd day for clean towels and body wash. They made the bed and left towels and that was it. My boyfriend mentioned how all my hair was still on the bathroom floor and the left No body wash and shampoo. No toilet paper even though the one there was more than half gone. The last day we were there our toilet started making weird noises then it was about to overflow. My bf quickly shut the water off from behind the toilet. I do not recommend this hotel.

Love the location. Staff not very helpful Towels are worn out and bed sheets and floor were dirty

Generally speaking, it was a nice place to stay. Rooms were large and courtyard was nice. Nice location. Daytime clerk was not very friendly or helpful - said no rooms were available even though Orbitz said there were 2 rooms - I went out and reserved through Orbitz and got a room. Door to room was drafty and did not close completely. Beds were lumpy.

Don't stay here. Believe the bad reviews. My bathroom was a mess ( hair every where), they never gave you enough towels, and some of the people at the front desk are rude. Not to me but I watched them with other guests.

I loved it better last year before new management took over. They NO LONGER SERVE BREAKFAST & THEY REQUIRE A $150 deposit at check in. Rude male receptionist who hates his job—-no warm welcome. Boy bye!!!

A bit older!! Doors older, leaky ,good location ,within walking distance of all of the french quarter

Location is perfect. This hotel is walking distance to Everything.

Some of the staff were very good while others so so when mentioning things like coffee or creamer were low. Shower wasn’t really clean. Mold was on the tile grout, lighting in it poor and hand towels just minimal. Over all property looked clean and in general okay.

I liked that there was a pool in the middle and that the building itself was large. I liked that there was a courtyard to sit in and eat/drink if you wanted to.

New Orleans historical building converted to a hotel. Helpful and pleasant staff. Walking distance to the French Quarter. Traditional and a little rickity but comfortable room.

Great New Orleans ambiance. Nice room and comfortable bed. Traffic noise can be a little loud if you are on the street side.
