My flight was canceled last minute by the airline. So obviously I couldn’t make the trip n the hotel refuse to refund me or changed the date.

For the price the my stay was not bad. The staff was friendly and professional...it was clean. The hot water in my first room did not work but they moved me into another ASAP. Quiet and cozy. No regrets in staying here.

Everything was terrible. Gave off American horror stories Hotel vibes. Tub was molded. Beds were broken. Staff wasn't rude but was necessarily nice either. Everything is old and the hotel smelled of smoke.

The staff was amazing and very attentive to our needs! I noticed that the last guest removed the batterires from the smoke detector because I saw the little door open on it. They replaced them within 5 minutes! We added an extra night without hassle or having to switch rooms. I found the central location to be very convenient because I had events to attend all over the city. I was able to get anywhere I wanted to go within 10 to 12 minutes.

The previous reviews on this hotel nearly scared me off, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was helpful. The elevator is old, but it works just fine. The room was clean and the bedding was decent. It was quiet enough. Our only issue was with the parking, which on the weekends is in short supply.

We left hotel early morning after the first night which we can't sleep at all: bed bags, heavy mold in tub, dirty curtains, safe didn't work. Manager wasn't present, we complained to the front desk clerk. Reaction: what do you expect, old cheap hotel for a pure people, nothing works. We made calls to Orbitz reporting our problems, hotels absolutely unsatisfactory condition and demanding refund. To make long story short: no any success with hotel and Orbitz. We stopped our CC payment which is pending as of today. Worse hotel and experience ever. It's a shame for Orbitz to offer such a horrible property.

Staff is professional, room was better than expected.

First they couldn't find my reservation which was a 2 day stay. Eventually they found it after doing some digging. The first morning I woke up to house keeping entering my room when I had the do not disturb sign up. 5min later a manager is knocking on my door asking if i was planning to stay another night. I said yes, my reservation was for 2 nights, she went back to check and I never saw her again so they must have figured out their error. The next morning an hour before checkout time, I was again woken up by house keeping entering my room! I don't ask for much more from a divey place than a bed and undisturbed rest and I couldnt even get that. By far my worst hotel stay.

The location is horrible. They have to have a $75 fee along with your reservation and I have no clue why. The isn’t any available parking if you come in after 9p. They aren’t responsible for anything. No WiFi, no phone in the room, the towels were dirty (hair on the towels) they hadn’t been washed properly, the shower still had someone’s hair in it (YUCK)! I went to get more towels and the front desk stayed they didn’t have any. The door to the room was even more disturbing. You have to ask the front desk how to open it because it’s a trick to it. The elevators are old and scary. The hotel needs to shut down or charge $30-night. Definitely not worth me paying $125/night plus the $75. I give this room alllll thumbs down! Please do not stay at The Midtown Hotel! HORRIBLE!

I had asked for a balcony room by the pool, they put us in a balcony overlooking the very busy and LOUD street. Its not in the best area and we did expect that for the price, but the street side had people partying all night long, every night! We did not get much sleep at all and lets face it, this hotel is only a place to sleep. And they really really need to upgrade the elevator. Terrified i was going to be stuck everytime i used it and i had to due to a knee injury.

Our room had hot water only occasionally and lacked any way to hang clothes (closet didn’t have clothes bar) and bathroom didn’t have hooks. It wasn’t serviced each day. The hallway reflected poor maintenance. The elevator made scary noises when in operation.

I had read the reviews of this place before booking so I was fairly prepared for what I might encounter. I've stayed at many 1 star sketchy hotels in my past so it takes a LOT to make me unhappy with my accommodations. The good: if you have a car with you, there is ample street parking right out front and a lot in the back. The staff was friendly and I had zero issue with the staff. The pool looked like it was ok but it was raining when I was there so I didn't go out to the pool. My room was very clean but basic. Could be improved: couldn't get any hot water in the sink faucet no matter how long I left it running. There was no clothing rod in the closet to hang clothes. There was NO TRASH CANS in the room. This is basic stuff! REALLY NOT GREAT: There was no phone in the room. Yes, people have cell phones, but there should be at least a phone to call the front desk if you have a problem and need to reach the desk. There was also no extra slide bolt lock that you typically have on the interior of the door. The deadbolt on the door was very difficult to get to work and I was worried I couldn't get my door to even lock! There is also many rooms that are being worked on that were left totally unlocked and left with doors ajar on my floor. Which is very unnerving as a single female walking to your room late at night and seeing several rooms on my floor (including both rooms to either side of me) that were left wide open.

Really nice patio and pool area. Hot tub did not work when I was there but the pool was really nice. It goes up to 9 feet which is great for people who want to practice swimming

The pool area was beautiful, even when it was closed it was all lit up

I fell in the shower there was no nonslip mat in the tub,no microwave or mini fridge. The running water had chips of metal paint.

Bathroom ceiling was leaking. Nobody came to clean the room. No irons or ironing boards available. Some staff were okay but mostly they were not pleasant

I have stayed here several times it is located pretty nice to the french quarter.

Close to main sites. Clean and gone thru major renovations. Friendly staff and close to all the sites.
