We couldnt get clean towels

Everything was good

Hotel was average, like most conference type hotels. On edge of French Quarter so fairly quiet. Not too exciting rooms, no make up mirror, two very small drawers for clothing. Windows were pretty dirty on outside. Housekeeping was okay but only came once during our three night stay and didnt refill the coffee. It was okay, but would stay next time at a smaller hotel with a little more character.

Because of Covid room cleaning service not as available

Location

Didn’t like how the rooms felt really basic and dated.

Great view of the waterfront

Location was perfect

Customer service was able to help me find a room that didn’t smell of thick cigarette smoke. The fourth room was clean and had no smoke smell. Customer service was friendly and accommodating. Laundry facilities was a plus. Having a lounge bar and pantry and breakfast buffet all conveniently located in the lobby was excellent.

Our family traveled for the birthday celebration. We had multiple rooms and the day front staff was extremely helpful, polite, just excellent. There was a night front desk staff that was not as polite. The hotel was everything we expected and very pleased expect for the second night for the remaining 4 nights a dog had urinated outside our floor elevator and the smell never was attended to.

I loved how close it was to restaurants and other local hot spots in town.

The staff,(Fred, Al at bell desk, the front desks people) super friendly, polite we always enjoy our stays

Great property, wonderful staff !!!!!

I paid for Club room stay and the Marriott Club room has been closed for months so very dissappointed since I set this up for our 40th Wedding anniversary trip. Keys to room not worked multiple times during short stay and finally batteries changed on door entry to allow ability to enter room. So not the experience we are used to having at Marriott properties!

Clean yet dated room with small bathroom. Surprisingly quiet given how crowded it was. Service was slow but friendly enough. Wished WiFi was free. Good size pool. All in all, hotel was okay, not great, not bad.

I am a fan of Marriott properties and often choose them to stay in. The location of this property is right in the middle of town and very convenient to many visitor attractions. That being said, the close location of as a detriment to a quiet stay. Canal Street is extremely noisy almost to midnight every night. Motorcycles and sooped up cars rev their engines at EVERY intersection well past 11:30 every night. Apparently Canal Street is also the center for political protests. If you are looking for a fun but QUIET stay I’m not sure NOLA is for you but certainly don’t stay anywhere near Canal Street.

It was close to everything

Check in was very simple

Stay was great, bathroom was the only complaint (shower curtain looked dingy). Bar and pantry on the hotel were great because it was very accessible, the food and drinks were very good.
