It was reasonably priced and located in a very desirable area of downtown New Orleans.

The bad: 1.) No front drop off/hotel check in in front of hotel - unless you pay at meter across the street 2.) The rolling cart has to be lowered by steps from concierge level at check in to the street level - I am not sure how a handicap person could access the registration desk - only steps. I would recommend bringing a very limited amount of luggage. 3.) The front desk is not staffed all the time. A phone number is taped to a metal garage security door which no one answered or responded to a text from me. If you come in after hours there is a keypad locking door at the street that you have to punch in - and the area is not well lit outside the door. The good: Comfortable rooms, bed, nice bathroom, convenient location, moderate price.

If your looking for a reasonable priced hotel close to everything, then this is a good choice. However you must know that this is a very old historic hotel. With a number of upgrades needed. If you like old charm and that does not bother you then great. But if your one that needs a new and perfect condition hotel, then this is not for you. You stay for the history of the past.

Our website addresses the hours of our front desk. We are a 20 unit historic hotel which does not allow us the luxury of a 24 hour front desk as the room rates would increase significantly. We do have someone on site 24 hours a day and the contact information is posted in the lobby. Unfortunately, the site you booked your reservation on does not share guest contact information with the hotel. As such, it is difficult at best to contact any guests with detailed instructions
