Very nice hotel. Very comfortable, the pool view was awsome

Excellent staff. Small but very neat rooms. Breakfast items were decent. Water in shower came out either too hot or too cold, so probably best to use the tub.

Gross. We checked out after the wedding and drove to a Baton Rouge. Didn’t stay the night.

Love the hotel, staff, and location. I’ve stayed here several times but since hotel prices in New Orleans have sky rocketed, I haven’t been back in years. Fortunately, I got a really good for the weekend so I jumped on the chance to go back. Dislike: Water pressure. But I think the the city is working on the water lines. This is the first time I’ve experience this issue.

This hotel was the best! The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and old time New Orleans. We had the balcony room right off of Frenchmen and the view was amazing. I can’t wait to come back. We didn’t even need to walk the street we sat on the balcony and enjoyed the sounds and the views. A definite go to when in town!!

Loved our room. Bed was awesome and room was awesome. The ONLY downfall was the noise from the street. You need earplugs for the bar music but Saturday night the party buss started around 3am and the music was so loud that our windows were shaking and I thought they might break. It lasted for about 30 minutes. Other than the noise the hotel was perfect!!

Great location better have your ear plugs at night. Great loud music but then the boom boom cars start

Bathroom door did not close. Flimsy security. Minimal breakfast. No internet!

Very noisy at night. Will do in a pinch but should not be your first choice. Staff was very nice and friendly. Bathrooms need updating.

I love the Frenchmen hotel. It is a fun place near the center of action on Frenchmen street. I have stayed there several times and have always had a great time.

The hotel was in a great location. Within waking distance to everything. My only complaint was the breakfast. The bagels were old and hard and the fruits were either not ripe or old as well. If possible, perhaps they could have a better variety of foods to eat. Outside of that, staff was very accommodating and friendly. I really really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub.

When we were taken aback at the steep stairs to the second floor, Anna arranged for my friend and I to have a different room with fewer stairs in building three. We were engaged by the narrow halls, exposed brick and tiny patio outside of our room. An iron gate led to the sidewalks in the Marginay. The room was comfortable, as was the bathroom. We could hear music from a nearby club when we returned to our room after dinner, but for us it was a good trade off with the stairs. The hotel was close to clubs, restaurants, and the French Market.

Check-in staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is healthy and convenient. The size of room is very small. The bed is comfortable though. BUT, it was very noisy because of the bars around. There is no way to sleep until 3am after the music stops. I had very poor quality of sleep for whole stay. If you plan party all night long, it is good choice for the price. We might skip this hotel for next time since we are not in early-20's anymore.

except the location, nothing else is even OK. Not worth it at all. Room and bathroom were the dirtiest I have seen in any kind of accommodation that I have paid for. Breakfast was non existent.

Been wanting to visit NOLA since our move to Houston. Decided Thanksgiving weekend was a good time for a quick trip. Didn't know that it was a huge football event weekend, with A&M v. LSU in Baton Rouge and the Bayou Classic in NOLA. So prices were a little higher for hotels than we would have liked. For the price, this room seemed small, but with the event and how packed all hotels were, it was not that bad. We were in a petite queen. One queen bed, TV, bathroom and closet. The room overall was smaller than my bedroom at home, but for a short weekend it was good enough. We requested the first floor after reading reviews about the rooftop bar being too noisy. So we didn't hear the rooftop bar, but could hear the bars across the street and foot traffic coming through the courtyard. Once we fell asleep though, it didn't bother us. The pool is cute and heated, and there is a hot tub. Had we brought our suits we would have tried them both out. One other couple did and said they were very nice. The staff was so friendly and even showed us to our room upon arrival. Parking is $30 per day, in a lot about a block behind the hotel. Seems steep for parking, especially if you don't go anywhere, but better than having your vehicle stolen, vandalized or towed parking anywhere else. The bed was very comfortable, and coming from me that's saying a lot. I usually don't sleep well in hotels, but slept great here. I would come back and hope to pay a little less. Good hotel.

The Frenchmen Hotel Is By Far, My Absolute Favorite Hotel In All Of New Orleans! Everytime I Stay, I Fall More In Love With The Frenchmen. My Stay This Time Was In The King Suite. It Was Absolutely Beautiful, As Well As The Balcony That Over Looked Frenchmen St. ❤❤❤

great location, friendly & helpful staff.
