The staff was superb! Deja was amazing. This beautiful and historic (and haunted) small boutique hotel is definitely a unique New Orleans experience. The bathrooms and doors could use a little more cleanliness, update and repair but we overall greatly enjoyed our stay.

Location! Location! Location!

Property is historic and has a great location in the French quarter. Room was small and COLD, and “no extra blankets”. Staff was friendly.

The hotel has a great New Orleans feel and great location. Everything was in walking distance. King bedroom was small and 2 queens was a much larger room if you need the space. We had 3 rooms, both sizes and loved them!! Great staff as well! We would stay there again!

FABULOUS LOCATION. Historic property. Walk to everywhere in the French Quarter. Hotel is a little dingy. We had 211 and it could use a good scrub. The baseboards and floors are a little dingy, but the price and location cannot be beat. Close to all attractions. Easy walk to river, Frenchman Street, even Superdome. We loved it. Staff was very helpful and courteous. The courtyard can be a little noisy, especially people departing early in the morning, but we managed. Honestly for a budget-friendly spot, this was great.

Loved the old charm and staff! It was a perfect location in the French Quarter.

I can not say enough about how wonderful our stay was - the entire staff was top notch , friendly & helpful, They all truly made our stay so memorable and I would highly recommend this property.

Loved the hospitality of Nate, David, Ryan, Louise, Brenda, Sterling and Marisol. A/C could have been colder.

Honestly the Hotel was not satisfactory at all. The rooms were hot. Night person at the desk were always pretty friendly.

Charming and very friendly staff. Highly recommend

It was surprisingly quiet, despite being in the heart of the French Quarter. The bed was comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room furnishings were old and tired however and there were some minor maintenance issues - such as the broken lock on the bathroom door which resulted in my wife getting stuck in there!

perfect location on quiet Royal Street close enough to everything and just far enough away for a quiet night sleep. That was consistent hot water in the shower clean towels the bed was comfortable nice TV the room was small but you don't stay in your room in this city. free continental breakfast was very nice in the morning consisting of coffee tea or hot chocolate and a few croissants that arrived warm and exactly to the time you requested. The staff is all smiles all the time. you just have to remember it's a very old hotel so nothing is new here but if you want a true New Orleans experience it's better than the big hotels on Canal st And I looked the entire time and could not find any ghost in this hotel even though it says on the Internet that it's haunted! ha ha Would definitely book again

Great location, pleasant staff. Minor plumbing issue resolved quickly. Charming older hotel with smaller rooms. Could use minor upgrades (repaint doors/trim, better linens/towels & toiletries) however was a very fair price for the location.

The Andrew Jackson Hotel has old world charm, a delightful courtyard with working fountain, a free room service breakfast with warm croissants and coffee/tea/hot chocolate/juice at the time of your choosing, and it's right in the bustle of the French Quarter...but, you have to keep in mind that the building was built in the late 1800s... Some of the door frames are uneven, letting air slip into the room and the heat stopped working on the first night of our stay. When we brought the heat problem to the attention of the front desk, they immediately were on it. They called a repair man and gave us a space heater in the meantime. The heat was fixed later in the day and all was well. So, all in all, it was a good stay. Basically, if you're easily put off when things are not PERFECT, then maybe the old homes of the French Quarter are not for you, but they're wonderfully unique, historic, and worth it if you want an authentic experience.

Best service and atmosphere in the French Quarter. Will be staying there again. Loved the unique environment and location.

Anonymous, Thank you for the review. I am sorry to hear about the cold room. Our hotel is over 300 years old and was not built to handle the artic blast that we saw over this last weekend. Which ended up being the coldest weekend in the last hundred years. We hope that you would give us another opportunity.
