This place had trash overflowing onto the ground, not to mention our toilet ran the entire night it was so loud we couldn’t sleep and the tub was rusty this place was just horrible

Pathetic managemwnt and front desk Had to leave due to conditon of the hotel room

Was deceived about deposit. On website it doesn’t give the amount of a deposit. The deposit amount is $500 and is kept for 7 business days. This is outrageous and should be clearly stated in the fine print. Instead you are hit with this upon checki in after traveling many hours. High disappointed and will never use Marriott again.

I would never go back nor recommend the hotel. I called for an early check in which I was told wouldn't happen because they were so busy. I understood and arrived a little after 3 pm. Check in was at 3. We didn't get into the room until 3:55 p.m. The room smelled of cat spray/urine, the pull out bed wasn't made, there weren't sheets or blankets in the room to even make the bed, enough towels for 2 people when specified 6 were staying in the room, and to top it off a cockroach ran up the wall. A worker had to come spray our room at 9:30 p.m. because the smell was so horrendous. All of this with 3 kids in the room. Shame on the hotel. Three people cleaned our room (1 housekeeper, the head of housekeeping and one maintenance) and not one of them stopped and said this room is unacceptable for someone to stay in because of the odor. The gentleman who sprayed acknowledged the smell and was apologetic.

5 stars. Great little suite and pool area. Quiet stay

The front desk staff are great and very chill, the room was lovely and HUGE -- living room, kitchen, huge bed.. ironing board.. I was very pleasantly surprised. I would love to be back!! Breakfast buffet is only adequate. Yes they have a variety of fruit, yogurt, bagels etc. but baked goods were a bit stale. Warning, though: It is 30 minutes and at least a $75 taxi ride from Yale. If you're here to visit Yale and all the closer hotels are booked up/fleabags (as I've heard many are), you're better off renting a car.

We've stayed numerous times at this hotel over the past 9 yrs. we've had two sons attending Yale in nearby New Haven. We've never been disappointed in the service and the fact that everything we need or desire is included: a hot breakfast, spacious rooms, full kitchen, even fires in the fireplace during parents' weekend during fall in New England. There's even a pumpkin farm just up the road! Our latest stay was for our younger son's graduation, arriving late at night, but finding everything as we remembered it, including comfortable beds into which we collapsed after hot tea and popcorn in our room.

I loved the space in the room, everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful in getting us directions on where we were going, the breakfast was also a highlight, they had everything! Even a place to make your own waffles if you wanted.
