If you want to let your pup run a bit more freely, there are a few dog-friendly parks. East Shore Dog Park has two different fenced in dog parks. Furthermore, there are trails and a beach for leashed dogs. Edgewood Park is open to leashed dogs everywhere and even has its own off-leash dog run.
If you get hungry, there are quite a few restaurants that are dog friendly. JP Dempsey’s State Street Food & Drink has a diverse menu with everything from buffalo chicken pizza to fried calamari. Christopher Martins serves a mix of Italian and Mediterranean, while Pacifico specializes in Nuevo Latino and seafood. You can ask for a bowl of water for your pup at Basta while choosing between a number of homemade Italian dishes. Claire’s Corner Copia offers both kosher and vegetarian options.
