Billed as a taste of Italy the property has nothing of the sort. The rooms were very dated and the hotel is in need of an upgrade. I don’t understand the TV service, it was difficult especially with such a small screen. Overly disappointing and will never start there again.

I liked the big spacious room. Beautiful furnishings and hot tub. The pillows were way too small for the size of the bed. And could have been firmer.

The valance on the window actually had a footprint on it! How does that even happen? Room 120? Was here to celebrate my sister's 50th. Upon check in, they couldn't find my reservation and were rude even though it was prepaid. I've stayed here 2 other times and came back because I loved it! Truly disappointed COVID-19 conditions apparently made you care less about cleanliness!

I stayed in the Presidential room and it was VERY disappointing! The room was EXTREMELY dated, weird smell, bed looked like it was used for a thousand years, jacuzzi tub had pieces broken, and the pole in the shower was rusted over!

Check -in was pretty easy, but the front desk staff was not very friendly. We stayed in a presidenial suite with a jacuzzi in the room. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The fireplace was electric but it barely worked, it was very cold throughout the hotel but the room had it's own heat. The freezer inside the mini fridge was so caked with ice it was unusable. The t.v. did'nt wotk for the first 2 hours we were there. We called the front desk and they said they had lost power earlier and maintenance needed to reset the main. In the morning i called for towels and they said they didnt bring towels to the room but i could come get them at the front desk. Overall i don't feel like the stay was worth the money we paid for the night. I wouldn't recommend this place for anything other than the jacuzzi tub.

Hotel is nicely situated near Foxwoods, wineries, and breweries. Liked the ease of check-in and staff friendliness. The room was clean and spatuous, and the jetted tub was great to relax. Only issue was that the walls and hallway door didn't allow for much sound proofing. Heard many people in the hallways at night, and the bathroom from the room next door. Besides that, the stay was quite pleasant, especially under current social conditions.

Gorgeous decor in my suite and the staff was friendly and helpful

You have to be careful of the rooms they place you in. While clean they can be old, poor AV, poor Internet, and room acoustics poor.

Very nice place to stay, shuttle was t running but understandably with covid . Some loud late night niebhors , but that’s not really staffs fault. They did talk to them immediately

Walls are very thin at this property. Room upstairs kept us awake with the jacuzzi on all night, then we were woken up at 4 am with construction workers going to work, and their work trucks idling in the parking lot.

In pictures, the hotel has this Italian decor vibe which I thought would be interesting based on the pictures but in person, it looked very small, gloomy and dingy. The pool was tiny and drab looking, they also placed time slots due to cover but I haven't seen those enforced - no one there really checks in so people attempt to come in whenever. The things that we liked were the staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was also a good size and king bed was comfy.

We absolutely loved our room. It was so pretty and clean. We will definitely be back!
