The hotel needs to be upgraded. It wasn’t what I expected

The place was pretty dirty, starting with their elevators.

Absolutely not returning there!! The room wasn’t clean (in the bathroom was sand on the floor and the carpet in the room was awful) Housekeeping didn’t come in our room first day, so I asked at front desk for towels, the old woman made a face like I asked to give me the moon from the sky( very rude). There was a problem, almost all the time, with pool towels (the shelves were empty, almost all the time)

Hotel/Room smaller than anticipated.

Pros Check in was smooth. The room was decent with a fridge microwave and toaster. The room was clean There was some sand on the floor but with the beach being right out the door I understood. There was an outdoor space between the pool and the beach perfect if you want to “be on the beach” without getting sand on you. Breakfast was included and it was a good variety Con Only one elevator was working (the second day both were working) Housekeeping never refreshed our towels on their own we had to call (even though the Covid protocol is that they will only refresh towels and take the trash out) Room doors are heavy when they close your entire room shakes! Every time someone on the floor leaves their room your room shakes! Shakes! There were a lot of unsupervised children.

The location is fantastic with beautiful views of the ocean from the balcony. It is also great that you can use the Breakers Hotel’s pools and slides (which are much better). Other than that, we felt uncomfortable from the moment that we got off of the elevator. The room was completely outdated and poorly maintained. It was also filthy - hair on the floor in multiple rooms, a sock behind the couch, bottle caps on the balcony, a water bottle in the groove of the sliding balcony doors, stains on the couch, dirty plates and utensils, a filthy mattress cover and dust on the ceiling and light fixtures. They didn’t have linen for the pull-put couch in the room and when we asked for a set to be delivered we couldn’t use some of it because that linen was stained as well. We ended up using a blanket to cover the couch each day because it was so disgusting. The outlet also sparked multiple rimes when we plugged in a cable and we had to ask someone to come fix it. Breakfast was convenient, but not consistently replenished to accommodate the guests. Beth was great and service was the best when she was working. The worst part is that we paid over $500 a night for the suite. We expected more than this - cleanliness at bare minimum. We weren’t aware that a clean room was too much to ask for from this hotel. When we informed the front desk of our experience after the first night, they did not seem to care. Spend your money elsewhere.

I loved that it was so close to the beach, staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and free of bugs and am looking forward to going back.

Overall the staff were very nice - except the front desk. Our room smelled horrible and the carpet was filthy. Our feet and socks were black daily. The room was in need of update. You can walk to great restaurants (about a mile or less each way). The view was great. Convenience store right across the street was very handy.

It was nice

Great location, beautiful view, nice pool area.

The beach location was perfect. I didn't use the pool or hot tub but the appeared to be taken care of. The veranda area was lovely as well. Due to covid, the bar and restaurant were only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Also the airport shuttle was not available making more Uber expenses for us. The room was way too small to accommodate the 2 queen beds, very little floor space at all. The bathroom was smaller than my spare bath at my house. No room for 2 people's toiletries on the counters. The 'kitchenette' was a joke. I am 5'3"and the counter top came up to my chest. Couldn't open the refrigerator all the way because the bed was in the way. The silverware tray was kept on the top shelf cuz there were no drawers. Our balcony was literally 4'x4'. There was no screen door with the sliding glass door either. To sum it, I will not stay there again, however the staff was great.

Overall my stay was good. However, employees needs to pay more attention to maintain the hotel more clean. I stayed 3 nights and my room was clean only once and thats because i requested to be clean. The housekeeping does not take time to make the room nice and clean, the vacuum was NEVER used in my room neither on the hallways of the hotel or at least on floor 16th where my room was. I could see the same dirt on my floor on the same spot for the 3 days if my stay. Breakfast was okay but one of the employees serving the food was very rude. Not even a "good morning" to customers. Other than that, the pool area, the view to the beach, and location of the hotel was nice and pleasant.

We liked our room and everything but we wasnt to happy the fact we wasnt able to get in the pool or the hot tub

Close to places ,friendly staff and being right on the beach
