We were checked in at 6 PM instead of the regular check in time at 3 PM. The reason being, 'the room wasn't ready'. After driving for 6 hours to reach the property and wait an additional 3 hours to check in is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional

Definitely was a little disappointed in the overall. No house keeping and I was told to just ask front desk for anything I needed, well they were not stocked with anything and very quick to blame room service for not giving them enough items(towels, toilet paper, etc) Don’t go off what the pictures look like, pool wasn’t the cleanest, views not the best, there is no restaurant. The staff wasn’t the friendliest either, just asking simple question I got short, snippy answers, felt like I was bothering them. You can tell that at one point this was a great hotel and just hasn’t been kept up over the years.

This was not safe for myself and my granddaughters. VERY FILTHY AND ROACHES CRAWLING UP WALLS IN THE ROOM!!

When we first got the hotel it seemed nice, the staff was friendly. We got there a bit few hours early so we let them know they said they’d call when the room was ready. We got a call maybe 30 mins before check in. Check in went smoothly and the front end staff was nice. I traveled with my cousin and they charged her for two rooms even though she only had one reservation. It was a headache to fix and she had to go down multiple times to try to catch the manager who conveniently “stepped out” anytime she went down. The rooms itself were okay. The TVs didn’t work properly, the ac in part of the room didn’t work and the WiFi was pretty crappy. The night before we left my daughter found a random pair of pants and underwear behind the tv. Called the front desk and they did not seemed phased or disgusted. They said the manager didn’t show up until 9 or 10 the next morning and we had to leave early to drive home so I went down and got her card to reach out.

If this property wants better ratings, it needs to invest into itself! The carpeting through out the hotel is in need of replacement. The bar by the pool needs a fresh coat of paint along with the sound system that plays fuzzy radio stations. The hotel next door's sound system was way better! The pool has an area that collects a bunch of "sketchy foam" that the kids pointed out. The customer service at the main desk was good and helpful. Dirty towels and trash seem to lay around until mid afternoon everyday which was not pleasing to see. Beach access was nice, but the vegetation needs to be trimmed back, only one person at a time could go down the path to the beach. Staff were consistently on top of keeping pool area clean which was nice! Over priced drinks, but the bar tenders were nice! Karen at the bar was cool! NO ICE IN ANY ICE MACHINE! What hotel has ice machines and no ice! Huge inconvenience! Probably will not return!

Bathrooms was clean room was clean when we got there after that no housekeeping .Rusty refrigerator no cable.

We enjoyed our stay the staff was friendly and the view was beautiful the kids loved the pools and hot tubs.

The best part was that it was on the beach. Kayla at the front desk was also great. That being said, the room wasn’t that nice or clean.

So of course because of the recent pandemic everything is short staffed and for the short staffing that they had they did the best they could and to us they were awesome! However I would have like to been aware that the restaurant is closed and that other restaurants around there are closed. I also would like to add that after what I witnessed from guests to staff at this place if you are going to stay at any resort in anywhere in the United States be respectful because they are doing their best to serve an accommodate us.

I didn't like that there was no tv signal all weekend, so we couldn't enjoy the tv. Our refrigerator was leaking and wouldn't stay closed. We had to put a trash can to hold it closed. The baby pool looked dirty. The telephones had no directory to be able to call front desk for services.

My stay was nice.. the staff where all very polite and kind. Front desk was very nice and professional. Noelle I think was her name.. was a rock star! Rooms where clean and pleasant.. Pool needed alittle attention had alittle yuck floating in the corners.. but all in all a nice stay would go back

On our second night, a pipe in the room above us burst causing the living room to flood. This was at 2 am. I went down to the lobby because no one was answering the phone at the front desk. The night manager told me he would have me a room ready in 30 minutes. I was in the lobby for two hours waiting. By that time i just went back to my room to go back to sleep sonce the flood was in the living room portion of the suite. At 9 am someone finally came to our room and it was one of the cleaning managers and maintenance. They used towels and blowers to get it all dried up. They offered to move me but i was over it. Believe the reviews about roaches, theyre everywhere. One lady told me while i was in the lobby the night before that they moved her due to flood and her new room had bugs bitting her in the bed. Another good reason not to move rooms. So i will never stay here again. Never ever.

Customer services low class very low , several pissed off customers rooms never cleaned and in very very dirty pools are trash and disgusting over all i will never stay at a sand castle again after staying here or any thing with the word sand or castle

Didn’t like the hotel room it self besides the view and the beds were ok to sleep in everything is needs to be replaced, cleaned and updated !! Pools and hot tubs were our favorite part .

The elevator need to update ...The shower we were getting hot water the bathroom sink was clogged up it was terrible
