It was decent for a one night stay at the last minute. It was clean for the most part and the beds were very comfortable, and the AC worked very well. If you looked deep down in corners, etc it could use a deep scrubbing. There was something spilled that splashed onto the doors and wall that wasn’t cleaned but overall, it was decent. Would stay again

I was miserable staying at this hotel but it was to late to switch the hotel. The bathroom sink and shower was out dated and there was rust in the shower but the toilet was brand new shockingly. Liked that there was laminate instead of carpet though. The decor was really out dated, the main lamp near the beds someone punched it in, there was dust build up everywhere in the room so their not cleaning the rooms and only making the beds. The beds were very comfy but there was a stains on the bed and on my sister's pillow and the towels were dingy and yellow had to get those changed. I hated that there was no full length mirror anywhere in the room, that was super annoying having to ask each other how we looked or take a picture so we could see fully what we looked like. Majority of the staff to some it up were hot mess and didn't act professional. The women that was on breakfast duty attitude was nasty. Hated that you had to stand at least 50mins or more in line for breakfast because everyone was focused to make their own waffles for breakfast and there's was only two waffle makers. It takes about 3mins for each waffle so you can only imagine the line it created and especially how long the wait was if the guest had kids. Other then waffles everything thing eles was nasty. I paid 1,100 to stay for only three days, will never stay at this hotel again or branch for that matter. I will pay the high price of the Residence Inn Marriott next time instead of trying to save a dollar.

The property was fine, no frills, relatively clean, adequate. It was a bit loud over night. The property is priced for the location, and the 4 night stay was fine until my credit card bill arrived and I had been charged twice for the stay. Still having trouble getting the situation resolved. I booked through Orbitz, maybe that's the issue?

Best place to stay in Horry County! The staff is excellent, rooms are spacious and clean, and we've had absolutely no problems the whole time we've been here.

Granted - we came right after the covid restrictions were starting to ease, but that was a rough stay. Dirty sheets/comforters, furniture in my room was so stained there was no WAY I was going to sit on it, and the place smelled terrible! Like the bathroom vent for the whole place led to my room. (Yes, THAT smell.) I should have asked for another room, but my stay was thankfully short.

It was just what we needed for that good price. Our dog was also very comfortable.

Staff are super helpful!! Great location! Air conditioner in the room was super loud and didn’t work too well, but overall it was a pleasing experience.

This is the worst best western plus I have ever stayed in. It is run down. The gym is closed

This particular hotel was OK, the one in Pawleys Island was a lot better

Everything was very nice. Staff was very helpful.

On busy highway, beside go-cart track. Front desk clerk okay, but not very customer friendly. Continental breakfast was delicious and coffee was good. Tables are crowded in a corner of a room, not easy to walk around. Housekeeping through away some of our groceries that was in a paper bag. They gave us $5 credit, but wasn't apologetic. They only have one elevator that is SLOW and only a few luggage roller carts, so at check out we had to do several trips to vehicle from 2nd floor. Beds weren't that comfortable. Fine for a business trip, but not vacation friendly and no easy access to beach/ocean.

Expected better at a Best Western, staff not all that friendly or helpful.

We missed not having a pool, which is pretty much the norm for a motel at the beach. When we first got in the room, it had a very musty, moldy smell to it. Either we got used to it, or it went away the more we went in and out. Other than that, it was sufficient for our weekend. I must say that, although we didn't have a lot of contact with the staff, when we did, they were marvelous! Front desk and housekeepers were terrific and that's tricky to keep good employees at the beach, where employment competition is fierce!
