Clean and quiet. Short walk to the beach. All of my interactions with staff was pleasant.

Beautiful area, just a long walk or short drive from beach access. Residential area, right across the street from a cemetery, but overall very peaceful neighborhood. I love the room, and the shower had the best water pressure. Staff was helpful and nice, and the rooms so nice and clean. The bed was a little more firm than I'm used to. But the sheets and blanket kept me cozy. Fireplace was so nice to have on a cold night like when i stayed there.

Quaint property set back in the trees near the coast. The bed was comfortable and the room had all basic amenities you would expect. Some items could use replacing or a touch up (wood chipping on mirror frame and chair, paint touch up on the bathroom wall, etc.) but overall the space felt clean and welcoming. Only complaint is that it was not quiet and didn't feel very private. Could hear dogs barking, maintenance staff and kids next door.

We visited Pacific Grove for a few days with our baby and stayed at LHLC. Overall, our stay was fine. The location was amazing because we spent a lot of time at Point Pinos beach area. The room itself needed some love. It was spacious, but it felt like the bare minimum was done. There was space to add to the room. The buildings are aging, although they appear renovated/updated on the exterior. The bottom of the door frame to the bathroom was metal and had a large rusted hole in the bottom. We had to make sure to keep our child from crawling near that area. Our child’s feet turned grey from crawling on the carpet, but to be fair, that also happened at a different facility we recently stayed at. But still, the carpets should be steam-cleaned. The bathroom floor got pretty cold, but the heat in the room worked well. The parking near our room was pretty tight. There was a fair amount of outside noise that came into the room because the sliding glass door faces the parking lot. Again, overall, it was fine, but improvements could be made.

The cottages are awesome! Bed was very comfortable and had a jacuzzi tub!

I like that it doesn’t look like a typical hotel or motel. It looks like condos with balconies. Our room was big, clean, and smelled nice. It has a cute balcony in the back of the room to relax on. I will definitely stay here again. However, I was disappointed that the two rooms I reserved were not next to each other. Our friends were placed in the next building. The numbering of the rooms are confusing.

Due to road construction, we wandered 30 more minutes to find entrance. They didn't put any detour sign nor apology.

It was a nice quiet property close to the beach and Monterey's Fisherman's Wharf.

Dirty and poorly Maintained. Not worth the money paid.

The nightdesk check-in lady was very pleasant and assisted us quickly. The room was tidy, but there were a few places that needed addition cleaning (wall behind desk, and walls surrounding the bathroom sink. There is some water damage to the bottom left of the wall in the closet behind the shoewer as well. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We were in room 127.

Our room and whole property was ok but in disrepair. The windows were inoperable, the screens broken and falling out and the sills very dirty. The ceiling sprinkler dripped water at one point. The linens were mismatched and old with no spare blankets or pillows. The carpet was worn and old. The dining room and breakfast were ok and the staff very nice. The place needs major maintenance.

loved the chef prepared breakfast and the wine and snacks cocktail hour. Did not like the hot tub--too cold--must be 102 at least.

Service and condition of suite. I found the location to be excellent for walks and the view of the bay.

Fireplace was broken and they did not fix it or able to change rooms. The fireplace was one reason we chose the cottages.

The cooked to order breakfast and the wine and cheese happy hour are a true bonus...

I am shocked to learn you had trouble finding our property! Next time, please call and ask us for directions if you encounter any road work in the area. Our nearest major intersections are Asilomar blvd and Lighthouse Ave. Fortunately, the Pacific Grove Department of Public Works has been working hard with the California American Water company to update the piping in the area. I hope this doesn't deter you from staying with us in the future.
