The property was amazing-absolutely loved it! Rooms were clean but small. Staff was friendly and the restaurant on site was delicious. Would defiantly make a return trip, would get a larger room next time.

Good location and friendly staff. Some parking spaces were very small.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location, a short walk to downtown Carmel restaurants and shops. They provide a generous happy hour and continental breakfast (which you pay for as part of the amenity fee). The hotel doesn’t have any air conditioning, but they have ya an oscillating fan, and we had a very comfortable sleep. Highly recommend!

Lovely clean room No AC, not really needed by the ocean, but our room was right near the beautiful courtyard and fire pit and hot tub. If we closed the windows no option for air( we were offered a fan) if they were open it was loud.there are plantation shutters so they do not provide privacy and room for air circulation at the same time. The hot tub and courtyard close at 930/10, but I definitely fell asleep and woke up to people talking :(

Lovely, wonderful for romantic getaway! Even with small children!

Loved the location - great room 118- right off the court yard . Continental breakfast was just enough to start the day . Beds were really comfortable . Ana was fabulous , helpful and extremely nice.

Good breakfast. Easy parking. The personal were helpful in directing our travels.

Hotel Carmel is super cute. We stayed here for two nights and it was great for the most part. The hotel is only two blocks away from the downtown area. You can walk to the most wine tasting rooms within 5-10 minutes. The only thing that I wish it was better was the bathroom size. Also, it wouldn't hurt if the staffs were friendlier. I had to find out about the resort fee charge on my credit card statement instead of at the check-out time.

The hotel was renovated last year and this was our first time staying. We frequently visit Carmel and have stayed at a lot of properties in town. Hotel Carmel did a great job with the renovations. The hotel still has Carmel charm, but the beds were amazingly comfortable, nice TVs, and great courtyard with fire pit. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

room is very small - but somewhat ok electrical outlets did not work that well
