Hotel was very clean

The parking is a headache

The staff was my favorite... Gigi was amazing...

The location was great. However, one of the rooms we had booked smelled of cigarettes and so we moved. They were able to get us into another room quickly. Overnight, it quickly came apparent there furnace was not working properly. Our room stayed at 80 degrees overnight even after we changed the thermostat. We ended up calling the front desk around 2am and they just told us they were having issues with the furnace and there was nothing they could do. My husband and I ended sleeping for 2 hours each. Overall, the heat in the room made for a bad experience.

The place was nice & relaxing; however, if you a get room with corner view in mpls downtown, the picture in the ad is deceiving, the buildings is between two other building & the windows dont show the corner view as shown. My partner & I stayed for two nights but no cleaning maintenance came to replace new towels or clean. We had to call to get new things for our stay. Overall the stay was a bit disappointing.

I loved the security they had in place, the decor, cleanliness and staff’s service.

It was a nice place but there must’ve been a party going on cause it was super loud.

Under construction but that wasn’t noted anywhere on the website when booked. Room was fine, there is a makeshift bar in a conference room which we didn’t spend time at because it was weird.

We liked its location in downtown. Very difficult hotel to check in. Front desk service good. The valet person wasn’t there when I parked. After being told at front desk I could keep my car parked out front while I ran my bags to room the valet person appeared. He told me I couldn’t do what the front desk person just told me I could then demanded my keys. He wasn’t wearing anything that identified him as even working for the hotel. He then told me that he was going to charge me $15 if I brought my bags up. This in my first 8 minutes at “The Grand”. I spoke with front desk and they said that wasn’t going to happen. Just a horrible start. This was Friday. Saturday at about 5:15pm we were able to flag someone down to clean our room after having been gone all day. The lounge also doesn’t have any set hours as we and others found out when bartender decides to shut it down whenever they please. For what is suppose to be a great hotel it is not worth the money they charge.

The bathroom was great. It had a separate tub(with a TV) and shower.

Friendly, great location to US Bank Stadium. Only suggestion is to have more information about food services within the hotel.

Alas, the “Grand” has expired. Gym is good but limited hours. Lobby coffee good but limited hours. Room had no place for two people to sit. Lobby seating is awkward. Staff is there but not “present”. No one, including Orbitz, bothered to inform me that they were changing affinity program between my reservation and arrival. Bed okay, shower okay.

The hotel was really nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They offered complimentary wine on Friday! It was quiet and pretty close to restaraunts and the transit Downtown. My only complaint would be that the water did not get hot enough for a shower. The three nights that I spent there, the water was warm at best. Hopefully this has since been resolved.

the stay was nice good people and a friendly staff would recommend this hotel

Dear Anonymous, thank you for your honest review. Because of this weekends occupancy levels you may have been placed in a room lower in the building. We have amazing rooms higher up the building and we would love to see you back at the hotel to take advantage of one of those rooms. Regarding housekeeping service, hotels have halted daily service due to the pandemic. This would be the case in any hotel currently. We do hope to have you back soon! Thank you for your business.
