I like everything about staying at extended stay Bloomington

The room was filthy, as was the carpet, with stains still crusty from whatever was spilled there. Someone’s dirty laundry was under the bed. The evening staff were rude and unfriendly, when you could locate them at all. The desk was unattended, with no indication of where they were, how to reach them, or how long they’d be gone. When you used the lobby phone to reach them, you got a busy signal. There was encrusted old food in the refrigerator.

Cleaning was terrible, they pulled my stuff out, threw all my food and toiletries away, stole my phone charger, when I wasn’t checking out for 3 more days, long black hair all over bathroom floor, don’t think they mop, hallways smelled like weed , I’ll never stay here again

we arrived at 4pm to check in to our roo. The staff told us our room was ready. We were told to come back in 45mins. we had a wedding at 5pm that we needed a room to get ready for. They offer us a one bed for our family of 4 and told us they will move is if a room became available.

The room was half prepared, so they gave me another room. The website says it has airport shuttle, but the front desk told me there is no shuttle, had to pay $20 for a taxi. Didn't see any vending machines, nor an ice machine.

Room smelled like marijuana and cigarettes. Clothes in drawers left from previous guests, which made cleaning doubtful. One of the kitchen drawers was just filled with trash. Hallways hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. Staff was nice though!

The hallways were dirty and had an odor. Even though non smoking I am sure I could smell cigarette (and other types of ) smoke.. OK for a night or two if traveling on a budget.

Photos and description were a VERY poor representation of the stay - which was all of about 2 hours. I ended up checking out and eating the two nights and staying at another hotel that was decent. EXTREMELY POOR.

Wouldn't recommend. There were police outside dealing with hotel guests. This caused the desk attendant to leave the desk during my check in. Made me uncomfortable. There is also an unpleasant odor in the lobby and in the rooms.

The bed sheet was not clean and pillow with no case. Bathroom has stains

When we arrived we were greeted by the front desk staff. He was very friendly and had a positive attitude. We got up to the room and it hadn't even been cleaned. The bed hadn't been made, there was trash on the counter, house keeping totally skipped that room. We went back to the front desk and told the staff, he apologized and told us he would "upgrade" us to a king bed. Which is what I booked in the first place. When we got to the second room appeared clean. The bed wasn't very comfortable, it creaked and was loud when you moved. The room was missing a lot of basic items. There was no coffee maker, no phone book, no bible, no list of restaurants nearby, no bag for dirty clothes. The decor was extremely out dated. I am gonna cut the place some slack tho, the guy said he just took over 3 weeks ago. He said that there were no supplies, and he had to order everything again. He also said he had to find staff as well. So, I feel bad for him. The place has potential for sure, but the investment would be expensive and require a lot of work. All in all, I would gave this place 2 stars out of 5. One star for the staff and one star for the affordability.

Aid over $400/my for a room that should be less than $75 per night. No amenities, breakfast was coffee and granola bars, rooms were not made up each day...
