It's the best place to stay downtown... however, the concierge is at a busy restaurant bar, so the person checking you in is also taking orders for the restaurant and diverting traffic for the restaurant. Not ideal if you've traveled and are tired and want to get to your room! There is no overnight parking at the hotel. I was not provided any guidance other than where the city lot was and could not easily pay without getting on my phone and paying the city. The noise on the street while in your hotel room is ridiculous on a busy night. You can hear everything from wet tire car noise or people talking going down the street because the windows are so thin. The place is clean and recently remodeled. The showers are awesome and a rare find if you need a bathtub! The rooms are very large. The staff were very friendly and very helpful! The front door to the hotel was broken so when the restaurant closed we had to go around the back to get into the hotel. Not ideal! Other than the parking situation, moving the lobby welcome station (or dedicate a person to the job) and reminding yourself that city life is going to create some noise: you'll enjoy an awesome location to get food and enjoy the downtown area of Waukesha!

This is my new favorite hotel! The room was very nice and spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Waukesha.

Nice room, very comfortable bed. Nice friendly staff

Great RiverWalk and downtown area. The Hotel is in an excellent location. The staff is very helpful and friendly.. Don’t miss the Pub for a Pint or a bite to eat!

We enjoyed our stay here for many reasons, but two nights were enough for other reasons. The good...spacious suite with two king beds and large bathroom...convenient location in downtown Waukesha...helpful and courteous staff...comfortable beds and pillows. The bad...the A/C was preprogrammed for efficiency (i.e. empty room) and had to be constantly readjusted throughout the day and night which had me waking up in the middle of the night because I was sweating. The rooms were clean on the surface, but in need of a deep, detailed cleaning. The tops of the sofa were visibly dusty; there was a dusty edge where the wall meets the carpet; I had to remove a hairball from the shower drain - and it wasn't mine. This hotel has such potential to be a really great hotel, but attention needs to be paid to the details when cleaning. An update to the decor would help too.

We stayed for a 3-night stay over the weekend. We experienced Friday Night Live, and had a great time walking around listening to live music. Lots of restaurants and bars with outdoor seating

Nice location in Waukesha, WI to have a romantic night with my husband for our anniversary. Close to home but not at home to make our night special.

The hotel was wonderful. Clean and comfortable. Awesome location!

A bit off the normal interstate or airport location, but so worth the drive. Old town Waukesha has the character and The Clarke has the value. A new Irish pub downstairs, great restaurant a half block down, cigar bar across the street with live music a couple nites a week and you are beginning to get the idea. As a road warrior and platinum member of the chains, it is nice to find a gem. Omelete to order in the morning and please use the valet parking, no street parking, as they are prompt and it saves the walk. Enjoy !

We were attending SummerFest in Milwaukee and wanted to get out of the city a bit before we settled. There was a wonderful coffee shop on the corner which was the protein we needed instead of the continental breakfast offered at the hotel.

Although finding it was a bit of a stretch, it is at a 5-points intersection, the Hotel is a great diversion from the standard fare. Usually at a standard hotel chain for business, I found this place by accident and thought I would try it. A "Reconditioned" building downtown is a great place for a few hotel rooms. Shops, cigar Bar, Jazz offerings and more are all within walking distance. For a couple extra dollars I would suggest the valet parking, as there is a good walk to the garage... Breakfast offerings are nice, but very limited. Recommended for any reason you find yourself in or near Milwaukee

It was a clean hotel but the parking was terrible. We had to park a block away and it was difficult to load and unload our luggage. Friday nights are very loud because they have street music. It was good entertainment until you want to sleep. We heard yelling and talking all night!! Other than that it was a nice hotel. Very clean. Good location for shopping and dining.

This was a beautiful hotel. Very comfortable, over sized bathroom and shower, excellent and would highly recommend. We ony wished we could have stayed longer!!!

Downtown Waukesha is a great location for this boutique hotel. Plenty of parking, nearby restaurants and bars. <20 minutes from all the great attractions in Milwaukee as well without having to deal with the hassle and prices of a larger city. Rooms are very modern and furnished like an apartment instead of a hotel. Huge walk in shower and kitchenette were welcome additions. Dead quiet in the rooms and minimal street traffic even on a week day. Really wish the US had more places like this - what a welcome relief from the generic corporate hotels and much more privacy than a bed & breakfast. The staff provided a continental breakfast as well even though their dining room is closed for remodeling. Definitely will consider for our next anniversary and absolutely will stay next time we're in the area!

Unexpected luxury in a smaller town setting

Beautiful rooms! Huge size, luxurious linens and super comfortable bed. Very swanky hotel.
