Good breakfast, close location to the historical downtown, clean place

Close to the park . Very clean and quiet . Good continental breakfast

The room was clean, ready on time, and staff were friendly and professional. Close to downtown Harpers Ferry.

I'm so glad I chose this hotel! It's a 20 minute walk to the national park, and there are numerous hiking trails all within walking distance, including the Appalachian Trail. The room was attractive and clean, with a nice-sized fridge that kept my food good and cold, and adjustable heat and a/c. We appeared to be the only people in the entire hotel, yet by some stroke of bad luck, we were given a room with no hot water. When I complained, the gal working the front desk jumped into action, at first suggesting a room switch. She probably gathered from the look on my face that this would not be my first choice, since my son and I had just gotten settled in. So, she instead offered to let us use the shower in another room, and that worked out fine. My only real complaint--since the hot water problem was addressed to my satisfaction--was that, like so many hotels nowadays, they only offered squishy, soft pillows. I cannot sleep on soft feather or imitation feather pillows; I need a firmer foam pillow for neck support. Since they give you a lot of pillows anyway, I suggest/request they offer both types of pillow and allow the guest to choose what works for them. Other than that, a great stay, and I would stay here again, especially if I'm bringing my own pillow.

Loved that we could pick up a trail right across the street. Close to And an easy walk to lower town. Free breakfast was pretty good for this type of hotel.

An older hotel, but for the area, it was nice. Close to Harpers Ferry & breakfast was good.

The people who worked there were very pleasant. Otherwise, it was clean but very basic.

This is the perfect stay for backpackers. Right in the trail. No frills but clean and nice bfast. Staff very accommodating.

It was very close to harpers Ferry. About a 20 minute walk. The staff was nice. Rooms are outdated and in bad shape. Don’t even plan on getting the breakfast. Small room, about the size of my family room, with 30 people crammed in there with tables and food. We waited for 10 minutes and left and went to McDonald’s.

Was not able to use AARP DISCOUNTS DIDNT LIKE THAT

Walking distance to downtown and convenient location if your hiking rhe AT

A nice place to stop on a business trip to Washington D.C. and back to Pittsburgh! Room spotless, AC cooling quite well. I could not figure out how to operate the TV. On the other hand, as all the news last week was unfortunate, that was not a problem at all.

Nice breakfast, nice staff, they opened even fitness center, close to town, restaurants, 7-eleven store, w&od trail.

I have used this hotel in the past, the fall of 2017. It is everything I needed and it it is located close to where I wanted to stay.

Clean rooms, nice beds. Great location. Second time staying there.

Outdated, musty, uncomfortable. Bathroom was only part of room that was somewhat decent. No elevator. Had to directly ask for help with luggage when I clearly had crutches. Cancelled remaining reservation within an hour of checkin. One of the worst hotels I've stayed.

The room was damp even though the air was working There was a smell that we could not identify

This hotel was pretty much next to one of the coveted parking lots that a lucky few can park in to walk to Historic Harper's Ferry. Very convenient. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was as advertised, clean, and comfortable. The continental breakfast was exactly what we hoped it would be and saved us the $20 or so it would have been at (nicer) coffee or breakfast spot. I would definitely come back here.

Thank you for your detailed review for your stay at my hotel. I am glad that you enjoyed our location. I apologize that your room's shower was cold and the pillows were too soft. I am very happy that Dawn was able to let you shower in another room with HOT water!!! I look forward to your next visit.
