The check in was smooth and the desk clerk was very helpful and full of good local info. The room was clean but a bit worn.

Location, price, staff

Definitely an older property and some things are worn, but the rooms are well equipped. Bedding and bathroom were immaculate and recent, so was the TV. The in-room bar, fridge, and microwave are nice to have. The lack of an elevator is a drawback since this is a destination where people are hauling winter gear, and while there's plexiglass installed at the check-in, and a touch-free set-up for payment, I was not impressed to see the front desk staff with their masks hanging from one ear until a guest approached, on two different occasions. It's an enclosed space and you're in there potentially spreading the virus unchecked just by breathing without a mask. You don't just need it during face-to-face interactions.

Close to shuttle to slopes—bus stop is around the corner. Just put boots on and hop to the Gondola.

Location was great, parking and lockers made equipement storage easy, and overall the place was tidy and well kept.

Good facility, great location, clean and well maintained.

Rad front desk and great location just across the street from the most popular pizza joint and the liberty bar is down the street the last late night place...then 12 minute walk up the street is the whole big village area with the mammoth brewery, village bars restaurants and even a distillery and then finally the clocktower basement bar which is way too authentic...shhhh don’t tell anyone

Bed was nice and firm which we love! Woke up feeling great! Staff was nice. Room was clean. Our basic room had a little kitchenette area which was awesome! Free breakfast is always a plus! The only thing I wish they had was more channels on the cable! Other than that everything was 👌

It was a nice hotel, the front desk guy was really helpful and kind, other than that though the room was just OK, the food was just OK...nothing special...

Nice hotel. Interior is a bit dated and dark but that's a pretty small complaint. Quiet, comfy room, good location, nice staff

The check-in process was easy. The innkeeper was pleasant and able to answer all of our questions. The room had an extra foldout couch, which was a nice surprise! The jacuzzi was relaxing; nice to spend a little time in. Only 6 guests at a time usage. The breakfast was ample; true continental with no hot protein options. The only complaint I had was that the breakfast area’s temperature was a little warm.

Nice size rooms with a cool little kitchen. In Mammoth you will love the covered parking!

I was minimally satisfied with the accommodations but not wowed. The entry area going to the lobby off the garage carpet is pretty worn and dirty as is the stairwells carpet. The walls and especially above the chair rail in our hallway were pretty dirty. The breakfast area cabinets are also quite dusty you can see when sitting at your table eating. It is an older facility and in need of updating. I did not give highest marks on the first impression survey and within 2 minutes received a call from the front desk stating if I wasn't happy I was welcome to go across the street. I assume they would be more interested in using customer comments to review their cleaning process rather than twisting customer arms to get the ratings they want.

Would definitely choose this hotel again. Obvious that the management works hard to maintain and manage.

We only stayed here because they had great reviews. Don't let that fool you. This hotel does not have any air conditioning. Their rooms are extremely hot. They give you a cheap little fan and tell you to open the sliding glass door for air. Yeah because that's safe. We didn't sleep all night because of the temperature. They guy who works the overnight shift was extremely rude

We were going for a weekend trip and this was a perfect spot for the price. In was in town with many choices (food, shops)within walking distance.

The Sierra Lodge is a nice place with large rooms. But the place is showing it's age and needs some T.L.C. The breakfast is an after thought, good for some coffee and that's about it.

Hello K , yes absolutely there should be some sort of compliance on both ends yet there are mistakes at times . Also with all the travelers coming up on a Stay At Home Order . Thank you
