Very well managed property. Dining area needs improvement both in staffing and selection of food items.

Centrally located; friendly staff, spotlessly clean. Breakfast was wonderful.

We liked everything.

Super room,staff and brekfast

This Hotel Regina is in the perfect location, period! It's only a few steps from the Sevilla metro station (red line, which is the main line that connects with the most important sites in Madrid); about a couple of blocks from Puerta del Sol, and not far from Plaza Mayor, as well as the Royal Palace. To get to the Royal Palace I did have to take the metro though, but then again, you just walk out of the hotel and the entrance to the subway station is right there. The Royal Palace is by the Opera station--also on the red line. In addition, this hotel is very clean and the staff is super friendly! The bathroom is very modern, as if it was just recently renovated. In fact, the entire building inside looks like it was renovated not long ago. On the other hand, the rooms are quite small. At least the room I stayed in. I was there by myself, and there was barely enough room for my suitcase and other stuff. I can't imagine a couple staying there comfortably with two suitcases. Also, the bed was a bit on the hard side, but tolerable. Other than that, I can't find any other issues with this hotel to speak about. Again, to me the most important feature of Hotel Regina was its location. You'll be hard pressed to find a better suitable location than this one, for the rate you pay. A highly, highly recommended hotel!

Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Most of the rooms have no view on the street.

Location, Location, Location Staff was amazing especially Beatrice. I highly recommend this property, just an overall great experience. Breakfast was very good and the service was exceptional.

This is the third time at the hotel and we will continue staying there every time we visit Madrid

Just everything in this hotel is just amazing. Staff, rooms etc.

The hotel is going through renovations, even with the construction going on, this was a great place to stay! Amazing location and staff. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had from a hotel.

Perfect hotel location. Just steps from Puerta del Sol. Metro station is steps away. Old classic building with slick, modern rooms. Excellent buffet breakfast. Staff is exceptionally professional and attentive.

Hotel Regina is our base for our stay in Madrid. The location is excellent with a few minutes walking to the city center Plaza del Sol where shops and restaurants are abundant. It is also just a short walking to major areas such as the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Grand Via and Museums, Room is clean, bed is divine and sheets are smooth and straight, as if they were ironed (maybe they were!) Breakfast spread includes variety of fruits, yoghurt, salad, jamon and delis, eggs and fritters, pastries and bread. It is scrumptious and provides a great way to start the day! Staff speaks English well and are always helpful to make your trip as best as possible. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotel!

Muy amables y buenas instalaciones. El desayuno muy rico. Estupenda localización.

The staff was very helpful and friendly the hotel was really nice

Great location. Clean. Comfortable....................

This place was immaculate clean our room service was excellent, friendly staff, breakfast was unbelievably good. I would definitely stay here next time go to Spain, close to everything.

Nice, modern hotel in the heart of Madrid. Easy to get to all major attractions and sites. We booked this hotel because of its amenities. It clearly stated in their description that they offered air conditioning in each room. We wanted this since we would be in Madrid in July. The greatest issue we encountered during our stay was the inadequate air conditioning system. We had to contact the front desk on a daily basis to deal with the problem. The only solution offered was to provide us with a small table top fan to help combat the unbearable heat in the room. Needless to say, we were extremely happy to checkout on the third day of our trip and go to another location that was able to provide a cool, comfortable room for the remainder of our stay.
