Free breakfast was a bottle of water an apple and granola bar, the hotel is showing signs of it's age

Our room was literally on the beach, climb over the 3-foot balcony railing, you are in the sand. It was an 1-night stay before driving to UP, we did not get to enjoy that. Perhaps it's late in the season, breakfast room was closed, granola bars and apples are poor substitute.

Great view

nice and clean but a little old and needs a refresh (carpet...)

Old and decrepit. Very poorly maintained.

Staff is friendly and the property is in a great location. Loved that we had a front row seat to Friday night fireworks and a short drive to the ferry. Room was fine, but the air conditioner was sooooo LOUD, it sounded like we had an airplane in our room, NO KIDDING. It woke us up every 30 minutes which led to a crummy nights sleep.

Close to Starline docks. If you are boating across on Shipleys and want a short walk find other accomodations closer to downtown. The room was dirty, and dated. Hair in the bathtub, and on the bathroom floor. Bobby pins near the sink in the main area. The microwave was broken and would not close properly. The wall paper in the bathroom was bubbling off the wall in the bathroom. Bathroom in general was exceptionally small compared to most every hotel I have ever stayed in. Mattresses were ok from a comfort standpoint, but they use pillows are a throw size which is really obnoxious if you are someone who changes positions in your sleep. Our room was in a section of hall near a service closet which meant that there were constantly housekeeping carts and or laundry/garbage bags outside of our door. I understand that this is not the most expensive hotel on the strip and so my expectations were not very high for the quality of room, but if it isn't even clean that is a deal breaker.

I think calling it a 2BR suite is misrepresenting. No 2BR privacy, no living room. Utter disappointment

The hotel was apparently closed and no one told us. No phone call, no email. We found out when we pulled into the parking lot and saw that it was empty. I called them and we were informed that our reservation was moved to a “sister hotel” and that they called guests to let them know. Obviously I did not receive that call. I was not happy at all; what a terrible way to treat your customers.

They let us park early well before check-in so we could take the ferry to Mackinac for the day. The room was clean and great. The staff was helpful and friendly.

It was ok but there was trash out when i checked in

Nice location, nice beach, friendly staff, we'll located for ferries to the island and the town.

We loved having a beach front water view room, but did not like the fact that random people were having a massive party just outside of our door.

Room wasn’t very clean. Cobwebs and with dead bugs in the corner of the ceiling. A few dead bugs smashed in ceiling above beds. Mirror in bathroom was dirty and the lamp shades were covered in dust! Yuck!

WiFi didn't work, very outdated. The rooms were not cheap, but were furnished like a very budget hotel. The breakfast was typical, although the coffee ran out multiple times and there was an actual tip jar.
