The customer service was excellent

My stay at Solaris was OK. It wasn’t a bad experience by any means but, it wasn’t the best either. For one the dinner meal options were not that great. The buffet never really had great options other than pork and beef. Also you had to call in to reserve Dining at other restaurants which was an inconvenience and not explained to me. There weren’t many amenities besides a few pools. The staff were friendly although not the cleanliness when it came to serving drinks. I ordered drinks and noticed that the cups had not been washed as there was residue from the previous drink at the bottom of the glass. The room was OK the body soap dispenser was not filled at all during my stay but, glad I bought my own. Room service was good. Only one elevator worked. The one thing that annoyed me the most was the transportation to and from the airport. The resort does not allow you to have an Uber come to pick you up which is much cheaper than their “provided airport transportation”. They offered to take me to the airport for $49 usd my Uber was on $15 usd. I had to walk off the property to meet my Uber and even then we were stopped by the police for what reason I don’t know because they were speaking in Spanish and my Uber driver didn’t speak English. So be careful with transportation because it is a trap.

Solaris is perfect place for those who travel with family! The Staff is wonderful…I would go to the every morning and Ernesto was always very helpful! Antonio and Fernando were also amazing in the Solaris buffet. The staff were constantly cleaning the resort every one was ver accommodating and friendly.

Everything was great except for room service. Awful wait times, bad service (no change for the fee), and the food was absolutely garbage. Don't count on the room service and this is a great resort. It seems like they take random leftovers and package them as room service food.

Amenities and inclusive deal were great! But the resort will have you go through a presentation about their resorts (similar to time share).

We wanted a vacation where we (parents) can relax while our child enjoy hisself also. The kids water park is amazing!!! Your child will not want to leave! Our 3 year enjoyed his time and met a few friends. The staff is amazing and goes above and beyond to assist you with your needs/wants. We ate, drink, relaxed, and played throughout our stay. I would definitely come back to this hotel

Beautiful location and overall we had a nice time. Only issues for us was the food and amenities weren’t up to the all inclusive standards we typically like. They food was often just ok or terrible in flavor. The best meals we had were the breakfast buffet. They have a beautiful pool but only the 1 w/ swim up bar and then a small adult pool w/ outside bar. It would have been nice if there was another swim up bar at the adult pool, basically more options. The rooms were older and beds uncomfortable. They also didn’t have some of the drinks we like alcohol and non-alcohol and that was disappointing. Our kids liked the kids club and they have this large water slide which is pretty neat. Overall, the service was good from the staff and we really did have a nice time, I just wouldn’t rate this an excellent place to stay.

The food was not good. We was expecting a better style and a better experience. Breakfast was poor.
