basic but clean, no complaints, easy to find and parking if you arrive early

No convenient electric outlet to charge my cell phone.

Was not able to check in because they close the front office at 10 pm . Apparently that’s their policy ???. This info should be included during the booking of the hotel !

La Ramona’s rooms are EXTREMELY small and uncomfortable. You can barely move around in the room. Not comfortable for two people. And despite being recently renovated, the bed is not comfortable and the room is overpriced. We didn’t even stay 2 hours, we booked a different hotel for the same night even though we didn’t receive a refund from here. You get what you pay for and this hotel may be okay for a low maintenance, solo traveler. The staff is very organized and friendly though.

Central location, nice if you're doing the tourism thing in LA. Room was small, but not tiny. Staff was nice. Our only real problem was that we we're driving a pickup, and the only parking is small, parallel lots

The hotel closes at 10pm -- somewhat that is itself outrageous, and a scam for travelers -- and this was not clearly advised on the website before booking. The hotel then refused to refund me for a night's stay I could not use, and it refused to arrange for me to check in after 10pm despite my calling in advance. The receptionist I spoke with before arrival said "she was new" and did not seem to know anything about anything, including the purview of her own job. What kind of hotel closes at 10? Deceptive consumer practices and incompetent staff --- avoid this hotel.

Very bad experience. Very dirt and ac/ heat not working

I was shocked there was a hotel like this. Tiniest parking, single file at the entrance. Very scary looking place, looked like the movie set of a cheap movie. But I was surprised that the room was pretty decent. Beds were ok and clean. Floor was clean. Bathroom was clean and basic. Beside it being super scary, once in the room, it was ok. I painted a rather bad picture, but it was ok once you got into it.

No closets. No parking charge. 25 min from LAX. Cost reasonable. Uncomfortable neighborhood. Alley entrance to half of rooms. Well lit.

It was a bad choice most the time can't find staff to give information don't

Worst motel experience I've ever had. On top of the facilities falling. No privacy. No parking. They made pay a $150 dollars deposit and i was affraid they were gonna make me pay for everything falling and or braking down in the room.

This motel is in a questionable part of L.A. The queen-bed room we stayed in is the size of a jail cell with the bed shoved into one corner to allow the 30" at the end of the bed and a small walkway from the entry to the bathroom. There is a small plastic table and two plastic chairs in that walkway. There is a new flat screen TV mounted to the wall above the table and chairs. The TV did not function because the cable is not hooked up in the motel. We were told there is wifi, the web site advertises there is high speed internet, but none of my four devices could connect to it. There is no place to put a suitcase other than the plastic table and chairs, floor space is very limited. There are no hooks or place to hang clothes. There is one overhead fan/light and you must get out of bed to turn it on/off. There are no amenities whatsoever, not even a cup or tissue. The bathroom fixtures are older and the only surface to place toiletries is the back of the toilet. There is one towel bar and one towel loop which do not allow towels to dry when not in use. This is pertinent because there is no linen service. We stayed a week and when I questioned why our room was't cleaned after the first day, I was told they only clean the room if staying two weeks. There was no way to have water in the sink because there is no closure for the drain. There is scalding hot or icy cold water making it challenging to take a shower. There is a 1/2" gap around the unit door, questionable security.

No access to mini fridge, microwave, a tv in the room that did not work. And worst of all, a ridiculous $250 deposit for a one night stay.

Our hours of check in and operation are listed in the website where you booked. It is not our fault you came past 10pm. For any other issues you can contact the website directly as they should state it clear thanks
