Pretty decent hotel. A softer pillow choice and brighter bathroom light would improve the stay.

My room was clean and comfortable. Everything was close to the hotel.

The small staff goes above & beyond to service your needs. Informative and friendly. I came back to hotel AFTER I checked out to get my bags (which they HOLD for you if you are sightseeing before departing Los Angeles) and they allowed me to tour the magnificent historical photos throughout the hallways even though I was no longer technically a guest. Their lobby is small, but clean and well decorated to reflect the Olde Hollywood style. I enjoyed my stay at this quaint hotel very much in no small part to the EXCELLENT staff service I received while on property. There is also a lovely restaurant with OUTDOOR patio dining (The Edmon) attached to the hotel.

Charming vintage hotel. Courteous staff. Easy paid parking. Centrally located.

I sent the following email to their office 4 days ago and haven't gotten a reply yet: I lived in LA for 10 years and now live just north in San Luis Obispo. Every 3 months or so I like to come down and visit some friends do some bicycle riding. I have been doing this since 2012 and have stayed at a hotel every time. I biked the Strand in Hermosa then drove over to the hotel, left my bike in my car and checked in fine with Ozzy on Sunday. I decided to pay $18 to park since I didn’t feel like finding a spot in the neighborhood. Sunday evening I ride my bike into Hollywood to meet with my friends but when I walked into the hotel that night with my bike, the evening desk clerk (did not get his name but it wasn’t Ozzy) very loudly stated “You can’t bring your bike in here”. I told him that I was a guest and he said that he didn’t care. He stated loudly and in front of other guests that bikes are not allowed on the property and insinuated that I was an idiot for not knowing that. He stated that every hotel in LA has this rule, and made it seem that I, as uneducated out of town tourist, was a fool for not knowing this. After a little back and forth I put my bike in my car, which thankfully was parked on the lot and went up to my room. I looked over my paperwork and searched online for any information on bicycles in hotel rooms and found nothing. I di

We had someone try to get into our room at 3am the first night there. Had to call the front desk and they said ‘just don’t worry about it’. Other than that it’s a cheap place to stay.

Loved the hotel. Very quaint and nostalgic. Loved the lobby and the pictures in the hallways. Beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The staff leaves a little something to be desired. They werent very welcoming. It was clean and convenient.

This is a neat place, quaint and historic, and priced well. The rooms look dated, but everything was very clean. I would stay here again. Good location for Hollywood, West LA.

The good: -The hotel was close to all the Hollywood "attractions",no more than 20 minutes drive from the major sites. -The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The not-so-good: -The street at the front of the hotel was very busy and noisy, best to get a room that looks out over the parking lot. -The room smelt a little "musty", perhaps due to the hotel's age?

Nice location, friendly staff, parking right behind the hotel, nice room

Noise from the street should stayed in room overlooking parking lot as we were on st side. I felt I was on a drag strip

Great location with close parking. The bar and restaurant was great! The bathrooms were small and the sink was weird, but everything else was great

Very nice experience, friendly staff and a very cool restaurant/bar

The elevator is really small. One person with luggage. Overall pretty quiet but lots of street noise.

Accessible to Beverly Hills area and can be reached by car easily. Less traffic.

We're sorry for what happened. We checked the security cameras. The guests in the next room mistook your door for there's. Obviously the door did not open but we're sure that that you were bothered.
