When I arrived (I arrived late due to flight being delayed and not being able to catch a taxi), I went to pay and I noticed I was charged an additional fee. When I asked the man checking me in he mentioned that it was a no show fee (due to the fact that it was after midnight). It’s also to be noted I requested late check in and that I notified the hotel that I would be checking in (more than likely after midnight). Neither of these times did anyone mention anything about a “no show fee”. Back to check in. So when I brought this to the guy at the desk checking me in attention, he said that this charge would be removed, and that sometimes that happens. It does not get removed and after filing a claim with my bank, it was not approved because the hotel is saying that it was authorized. I call the hotel and after speaking to two various staff, they are all telling me that it doesn’t matter that I notified them, I would still get charged because I checked in before 3 pm the day of. So I am billed for a no show me even though I in fact showed and even gave the hotel notice. The staff is clearly not trained in communicating with guests appropriately. Also when I arrived, there were what looked like lipstick stains on the pillowcases. Do not stay here. Save yourself the trouble.

They sold our room because we came in to late and charged us. And told us to find a room somewhere else @ 3am with my sleeping two year old. Wouldn’t recommend. Hotel is probably good but their protocol was terrible.

Nice a clean a professional staff

Everything was good, but to charge you for parking I think is wrong since everyone that goes to the movies parks for free. You get there and the parking is somewhat full. I think they should change it back to free or fence it of so no cars can park there.

clean, staff was helpful. My room was never cleaned during my stay, and the restaurant was closed.

On 8/18/20 my boyfriend and i reserved a room at the double tree. I have been to many double tree hotels because i loved the service and the delicious warm cookies. That day we arrived and it was steaming hot inside the lobby. It seemed they had a problem with their a.c. we checked in and i asked the receptionist if thet had any cookies. She said not today because they didnt want to bake any because it was too hot. We said ok hoping that later on they would make some. Once we got in our room my boyfriend wanted to watch the laker game. The cable was not working. I opened the cabinet to check out the refrigerator. There was nothing. We went downstairs and ask another receptionist who was not in uniform but with a navy blue t-shirt that the cable wasnt working she saud rhey were working on it. Then i asked i dont have a refrigerator in my room she said that the rooms dont come with refrigerators. I told her in orbitz it says refrigerator in the room. She said she can send me one upstairs so i said ok. We waited. She said the fridge was there Already. we went upstairs and they left the fridge at the door which my boyfriend had to pick it up and take it inside. The only reason i dont put terrible is because the receptionist tried to get me the fridge. But other then that our stay was very uncomfortable. My boyfriend was very excited to try the cookies and watch the game but that didnt happen.

Overall the place looked great, very clean and elegant. The room also looked very nice and the beds where great. The only things I was disappointed was the dryer did not work and the AC did not work. I was surprised that the room had no microwave and refrigerator and very disappointing. Also the rooms where recently updated but the Tun needed to be upgraded as well, you could tell it was old.

Free, easy parking. Close access to the 5 freeway.
